@Retrotoyguysi yes it was a mix bag it shows how much it changes after 6 years from photos on line lots more models in could see in the photos than nowadays
I know shops have to diversify to stay afloat but I used to make regular trips on the train to this shop purely for my model railway bits and supporting locals, but not of late as now very little in stock and having to order on line and pay the extortionate cost of the post office deliveries and absolute crap service, shame as now very little in way of model railway shops in the North Kent area and what is having to incur large costs in fuel & parking etc to get to them.🤓
@edwardbarnes2702 yes sadly that is the way things are nowadays just look at hobbycraft 6 years ago or abit longer a half of a floor full of models now just a side
You should give the model shop at Teynham a visit (just up the A2 about 3 miles from Faversham , got a train station so accessable ), loads of models paint ect,and the couple that run it are lovely people.
@@travelswithjasonf1463 Great, it's how all model shops used to be, it's got that smell you know? ....Just up the road in Sittingbourne about another 3 miles there's model world. Very modern and is very well stocked with just about everything. It's on an industrial estate so a little tricky to get to unless your willing to walk a mile or so from the station or have a car or take a taxi. Well worth the visit though for. Sure.
Thanks for sharing, it is nice to see a hobby shop with a mixed selection, we don't have many model shops in UK now so it is good to see them 👍
@kierangolding737 yes not many shops left now in the uk
Bit of a mixed bag that shop, nice selection of Star Wars and I did spot some Indiana Jones there as well. Yeah nice, thanks for sharing 👍 😀
