That hotel in Valentine, if you enter the first room to the right at the top of the stairs, you'll see what that guy is always moaning and crying about. It's quite funny and not what you'd expect.
If you want to find out more about what Mary Bethe and Karen were gossiping about, you can investigate the alley ways around downtown Saint Denis (near the middle of town). It's a pretty fun investigation leading to a bit of excitement.
