Personally I am getting tired of this onslaught of new editors every single day. I would like to see ONE AI editor that is actively improved, but is already useable. I don't want to hop to every new attempt to grab for some $$$.
Competition is good, but also prone to have those start ups with no market retention. Whichever app is supported and funded the most will be the leading one.
I do think 🤔 if we already have so many IDE, especially so many VScode forks, we need to start testing them by the price, functionality, ability to work on more complicated apps, 1000+ lines of code for example, bug fixing and ask if they have anything special over the other apps
you seem like a very, very smart guy. I think you’re smart enough to know that cursor is simply trying to onboard as many people as possible and make them dependent on the product before adjusting the price for profitability. Absolutely zero of these tools is sustainable at 20 bucks a month. Even open AI wants to increase the price of ChatGPT to $44 by the end of the decade. So, exponent seems to be taking a different route. looks like their pricing to breakeven or a slightly marginal profit at best. I see a service like that. Improving to be closer to 100 bucks a month, if not more by the end of the decade.
I'm building an app with the help of AI and I'm planning to implement a feature similar to Cursor's chat, but instead of using it with code I'm gonna use it with text and JSON. Do you know what LLM should be ideal for that? I've read that Claude 3.5 Sonnet is the best for coding, but what about text and data?
I'm honestly starting to get tired of all of these videos, because not a single one so far has surpassed Cursor in every area. Rather than trying to force a bunch of workarounds, I would rather just pay $20 a month for Cursor.
Here you go : "This is a basic expo app. I want you to make it a water tracker app. Make sure that all the default tabs and stuff are removed and it only has 1 page. The water tracker app should give me a target of glasses of water to drink in a day and then it should allow me to track and see if i can reach that limit. Make sure that it looks sleek and modern with some graphs and intuitive animations."
#1 will be cursor, #2 is windsurf. but cursor has 2x price compared to windsurf but its not so that bad , it just missing some feature like attaching an image and some stuff but they have a good analysis on a code. so choose it wisely
my pc is like a bag full of vscode forks
😂😂😂
I'm going to need a much much bigger HD
And not one spoon to be found
I believe they're just forking each other and creating new products
You can store save and edit the code on the locally hosted bolt repo by the cameron guy
The AI race is going fast-paced, and you, Mr. AICodeKing, really helped me up-to-date. Thank you!
It seems that each of your videos include a technology beating all the other.
So we have daily IDE now?
😄😄

You’re so talented and I completely trust you.
Please, what are the best tools to assist with programming, ranked according to your preference?
Cursor. The rest are unfinished garbage.
Cline and Windsurf. But Windsurf sadly does not work on WSL2

Can you show us Kodu?
Elevenlabs ai voice narrator... AIDE is opensource and free.
What's more important? Model or IDE??
both, Good model can give you a better result. good IDE can enhance your model prompt.
did u also text it on windsurf? or can you give me the prompt for test it by myself ?

I think Cline is much better than either of those for coding.
I love your videos.
I think I will stay on Windsurf.
An A.I a day keeps the coder away
