I'm 55 and this song captured the the best and the worst time of my life. Dancing in the kitchen with my baby daughter in our arms and then having my heart shattered with our breakup. This song and Taylor's heartfelt lyrics have transported me into a healing I have needed and this tour has helped me find joy in a very sad time in my life. I lost my mom last year. She was the only person that helped me in my darkest times. Taylor has brought me again to a happy place. Her words are healing and they just hit. THANK YOU Taylor for bringing me back to life with your gift of songwriting. I hope to see you live one day in the real and not just tiktok live streams. ❤❤❤❤

As a musical critic & musical artist, the song "Sad Girl Autumn" of Taylor Swift is my favourite song. She is here in recording studio. Sweet voice, lovely melody, poetic lyrics, slow rhythm and progression of her ballad. It's her longest track = 10'. It's deep, beautiful, bewitching. Taylor Swift dares to say what she thinks, what she dreams. And I love her sweet vocalizing coda.
This is the 3rd version of this song that I hear after Taylor’s version and her acoustic performance, all very different and all absolutely brilliant. Only TS can record several versions of the same song and it just doesn’t get boring. As far as I’m concerned she can record this however many times she wants.

Taylor Swift recently revolutionized the record industry by re-releasing her first 6 LPs from Universal, so that she alone could collect the rights to her masters. She is very clever, generous and thirsty of justice; she did it also for the other musical artists.
The first time I heard this was when she sang it on SNL and it gutted me. Just gutted. Even though I've been happily married for over 20 years. But the emotion and description was so strong that I was suddenly standing in the kitchen again while my ex-fianceé called off our engagement. Now, I'm glad he did, but, then, it was devastating. The memory has never been stronger than hearing this for the first time.

Like other hundreds of thousands of people, I absolutely love this very version. Minimalistic, stripped down to what's absolutely essential, it touches me each time. The piano supports her voice gently as if knowing that she in her fragility can barely go through the sad story yet again. This is a masterpiece. 💔

This is the second time I've posted a similar comment about Taylor Swift: No one can ever deny this woman's talent. I've not listened to any of her songs for like 10 years but just listening to this took me back to those few moments in my life and made me remember how painful it was in a way that I could never express with the level of clarity she has in her song. Imagine someone who's never met you can tell you how you felt in your younger self. That is talent to use music to connect us through our common humanity, which is the talent of a musician and an incredible artist.

Probably the only 10mins song I could listen to over and over again, never get tired and each time I listened to it, I can't help but to think about all the things that happened in the pass, all the heartbreaks. It's amazing how a song can leave such a huge impact on someone's life.

This would have fitted perfectly on folklore. The theme of folklore was nostalgia and looking back at the past and after ten years have passed its definitely was she's doing with this song. The piano and guitar kinda sounds like champagne problems and it also has the same chords.

Taylor Swift sees the world in a language so very few of us will ever grasp. IMO this is her genius. Doubtful there will be another like her. What a songwriter. Easily my favorite version of this song. Gutting.
This version sounds like sitting on the floor exhausted when you don't have any tears left, just a sad ache all through your body. You can't bear to look at any more photos but you can't bring yourself to close the album either.
The way she has 113% control over her voice is just so magical, you can hear how she plays with it, making background vocals, doing lower parts and all of this with the most perfect delicacy. She will never stop surprising me👏🏻🥺

@@holdmeslowly If you listen to the Lyric Video 10 minute and then watch/sing the Karaoke you can see what her voice does to the delivery of the songs. She holds the tune all the way through the song. Perfection.

I'm listening to a lot of Taylor Swift for the very first time tonight. She's quite the talent and this song is amazing. The line "Casually Cruel" paints the person she's singing about in a more clear light and I can understand the hurt she felt or is feeling. Been there, long time ago. Takes awhile, but the river of time washes away many a pain.
Go listen to Better Man. Her version and the version Little Big Town sang (she wrote it and gave it to them)
