- Prince William and Prince Harry have once again put aside their differences to walk side-by-side in a procession taking Queen Elizabeth’s coffin to Westminster Abbey, London, for her funeral service. It was a solemn walk from Westminster Hall, where Queen Elizabeth has been lying in state since September 14, to the abbey, where the funeral will get underway at 11am, local time, on September 19. While William wore his military regalia, Harry, as a non-working royal, was dressed in a traditional morning suit. While both remained poker faced, walking stiff and upright, Prince Andrew and King Charles were openly crying as their march was sound tracked by bagpipes and drums.

So proud to be black britsh. The echoing sound of the bagpipes will forever remind me of this moment 🥰 x r.i.p to our queen x
Your British and proud what ever your background.
I've never witnessed anything so emotional as this. The drums, pipes and the synchronised marching. Had me in tears. Can't stop watching this! Proud Brit.
Woody.EXE’s tribute stunned Wales as me, my 2009 Woody, my sister and Mummy walked in procession with him; luckily the crowds got to see it on screens throughout Wales but many mourners were at my house gathering. I never experienced when the whole of st Julians could hear the bagpipes as Woody.EXE played them. Never seen them commenting on my 2009 Woodys grief so quickly that it went absolutely viral. All 5 of us will never experience this again for a long time
I'm not British, but watching this soul-stirring procession, with the drone of the drums, the bagpipes, the solemn movements, and the royal coffin moving slowly to its final above, I was deeply moved to tears. God receive the Queen in heaven! Britain's Queen...My queen!
Hear!!! Hear!!!
I can’t stop watching her for she means so much
❤beautiful, stunning, joyful, gracious, there’s just not enough words to describe our wonderful Queen Elizebeth. God chose her, blessed her, and she blessed us❤✝️sadly missed here on earth, gladly celebrated in glory and soon I finally get to meet her. Thank you father god✝️💕What a wonderful woman,we are all special to god and each of us have our assignments and race’s to be run,but some are chosen for a special purpose and Queen Elizebeth was indeed special. miss you until we all come home to glory sweet queen elizebeth ✝️♥️
Me, my 2009 Woody, my sister, Mummy and Woody.EXE did a procession from my sisters bedroom to the living room; crowds started gathering at my house to watch all 5 of us pay tribute to Queen Elizabeth II. About 72 billion people were there to the point my area was closed off, never in my life I’ve seen st Julian’s so crowded. Then my 2009 Woodys grief started to go absolutely viral across Wales when all 5 of us watched the funeral live in grief. Later that night; we greeted the mourners outside my house, I overheard a few say “How did Woody.EXE do that?!” We all were singing God save the Queen one last time to end this amazing day
I’m a Brit currently on vacation in Florida and it’s so nice to hear of the Americans here speaking so highly of the Queen and of the British people.
No Brit says vacation, come on.
Unbelieveble, what a piece of art, sophisticated elegance and giving honor in such a way only the British can do !! I love that British style and their traditions, greetings from the Netherlands, rip Queen Elizabeth.
Thank you ❤️
Thanks 🙏
I've never felt so proud of my home land as I have today. RIP ma'am.
That's what monarchy can do.
You should be, I'm watching from Holland and I am highly impressed!!
Agreed 💯% ❤️
that moment at 4:10, when they start playing the music and march at the same time gave me goosebumps!! Absolutely beautiful!!!!
Yes. Everything about this music and the marching is perfect!
Anyone a name for the bagpipe and snare being played
What is the music playing in the March before they enter Westminster Abbey?
Absolutely. Bagpipes resonate so much with me.
I’m from Scotland and I’m trying to find out the name of the song piped along the procession before Westminster abbey but nowhere seems to tell u just the lone piper at the end of the service is answered but not the one that they marched to which brought me to tears . 👑
Seeing those young men carry the coffin, the men and women of the navy physically pulling the gun carriage, the constant beat of the march, and the wail of the pipes, made me tear up, not only with sadness, but with a huge amount of pride. The precision and detail, and the sheer size and colour of the spectacle, was a beautiful and fitting send off to our wonderful Queen. 🇬🇧🙏👏
So sad isn't it 😢😢😢
I couldn't have expressed that any better ❤️
Amen.
Totally agree, and the toll of the Bell every minute just added to the wonderful send off too our Queen.
When the bagpipes and drums begin to play gave me goosebumps, it gave me tears in my eyes , the english have great traditions, i truly love the english way of doing this .
Much Respect from the Netherlands.
R.I.P Queen mother 🙏🙏🙏
Scottish. Pipes are Scots. 🏴
The Scottish English Welsh & Norther Ireland. We’re the. Uk or Britain it’s not English just to correct you.
Pipes are the Scottish military playing all those songs by the pipes where played only by Scottish & Irish Troops. English play those big flutes for the fanfare and stuff. Bagpipes are not played by the English military
The song is called mist covered mountains
And the Ghurkas!
I thought this was the most moving part of the funeral. Very powerful.
Today Britain made history 63% of the world watched this, we should and will be proud.
Thank you to all those around the world who shared this moment with us here in the UK. A very difficult day. The huge respect and love people have shown to this remarkable woman fills my heart with pride ❤️
🇨🇦❤️🇬🇧
Was very proud of all today, they didn’t disappoint ❤️
I was born the year the Queen had the coronation. She has always been there as a pillar of strength. I admired her and loved her.
I have been mourning along with the people of Great Britain, the Commonwealth, and the world. On the day of her funeral I was British, too. Her people were beaming with pride as they should be. My condolences to you all from across the pond.
@@zulemafriedman4402 I was also born in 1953 one month after the coronation and feel a special connection to that great occasion. An Aussie very proud to be part of the Commonwealth family.
Beautiful start to our Queen's funeral, the pipes were magnificent, this was my favourite part of the entire day. The service men and women did a splendid job from beginning to end. The Queen would have been so proud.
I have requested this for my funeral in Wales and everyone has received a bank holiday of mourning so the crowds could come down to watch 1940 give me the best send off as my 2009 Woody, my sister, Mummy and Woody.EXE walk behind me. Woody.EXE will be still Wales’s reigning monarch and he promised to never step down unless my 2009 Woody takes over as he’s 2nd in line to Wales’s throne
Absolutely brilliant 👏 I'm a proud Welshman but stuck in hospital watching this with tears running down my face. What a way to go, you Absolutely nailed the bagpipes 👏👏
Get well mate
For some reason this is the part of the whole day I'll remember the most. So incredibly moving.
Me too!!!
The same! This just overwhelmed me 💔
Respect from the Netherlands, got goosebumps.
What an honor for those young men to bear such a precious burden. RIP, your Majesty.
No people of color allowed
There were half women as well.
@@machellep1 good for them - glad they were involved ; because I was working, the parts I was able to catch, I only saw men.
It was an honour meeting King Charles III and Queen Camilla before the funeral. I did the Queen’s royal wave back and I loved the way Camilla looks back at a distraught me. I’ll always remember this day
I had to do a lot of googling to find this, the US media keeps showing irrelevant clips of the funeral - like the Queen’s casket being driven on the highway to Windsor. I happened to catch the beginning live and I was blown away. I come from a family of cops and firefighters and so have been around a lot of bag piping but I’ve never heard them like this! Such a high notes, so spiritual and truly majestic.
This is the most spectacular and sad thing I have ever seen… tremendous respect for her majesty the queen. ❤
R.I.P, your Majesty. I’m American but this made me so proud. You were a great queen.
True allegiance to their monarch. No beast of burden to carry her to her funeral. Her service men and women will carry and move her to where ever she needs. Well earned and deserved. Epic
There were several parts of today that rejuvenated a patriotism in me, that I thought was long lost.
Millwall will be very proud of the magnificent send off, F troop as well ,My Union flag fly's high in Glasgow ,Rangers tribute was outstanding as usual those celtic fc fan's disgraced themselves with banners saying things i could not repeat they truly are ignorant ,ex service men and women who are fans of celtic cannot wear a poppy at a game they would be attacked.
Those lads carrying the coffin deserve commendation, who'd like that responsibility!!!
Racist ceremony. Absolutely no people of color.
Absolutely, they did it perfectly. Their families must be immensely proud
Yes! Reported that it is iron framed (?) and weighs in tons!
@@sueprator9314 It's solid oak, lined with lead. Weighed 500 pounds.
Loved this thrilling moment when they moved with the pipes. Real British. Made me emotional
I've watched this over and over again it's the most amazing thing I've ever seen. Them service men from all over the United Kingdom and the commonwealth nations I applause you 👏 for giving your boss the send off she deserved God save the King 👑
It was magnificent for sure.
@@Richard-fv7rq
Everyone in Wales gathered at my house to watch me, my 2009 Woody, my sister, Mummy and Woody.EXE in procession; everyone cried straight away when Woody.EXE started the bagpipes. I’ve never seen Wales so incredibly crowded just for us lot. During god save the king was when my 2009 Woodys grief started going viral and they saw how heartbroken he was when everyone else was saying “where does our girl get the incredible strength from?!” What a day that was
Only the British can do this so well. Bagpipes & drums was awesome...👌🏼
Next time you have a funeral to arrange just give these guys a call.
It may prove to be a bit more expensive than your local Undertakers, but my God it's a hell of a show.
Exactly how I’d have my funeral in Wales, I relived when Woody.EXE agreed to my funeral arrangements and he’d do anything to give be such send off as this since I’ll be his Queen by then and this will be the biggest funeral since Queen Elizabeth II
Amazing never get tired of watching this spine tingling
This makes me so proud to be British ! 🇬🇧
My funeral will be like this and there will assembling in Wales for the first time since Princess Diana’s death and I hope my mother will be here to see this happen
Those bagpipes are amazing
RIP HM the Queen
It’s so emotional 🥲, overwhelmed with the music and the drills all together , RIP your majesty !!
Woody.EXE’s tribute overwhelmed Wales and even me
When they start playing the bagpipes… wow majestic and very impressive…
I’m doing this next month and I think St Julians will be even more crowded that the services closed the roads off just for me and my dad to March past in my poppy dress and red heels. I’m so loved just for this
Never heard anything like it - just absolutely beautiful ❤
Absolutely amazing. Her Majesty rest in peace.
Magnificent. Those pipers got me 😢
Me 2.
The Pipes were Magnificent. Huge credit to all the organizers
A very touching ceremony !!!😪❤
Awe inspiring with the world watching, RIP our Queen what a beautiful send off
Pipes an drums, always makes me cry...
Many greetings to the English people from Germany
*British
Absolutely same with me 🇮🇹👍
Quite magnificent. A wonderful send off for our beautiful Queen. No one can touch the British with the precision and spectacle. RIP Ma’am
Scottish pipers did us proud 👏 🏴
And Irish and the Ghurkas!
Wow I'm not British but I must say well done, honour to their fallen leader...wonderful..how they are keeping the gun carriage from going off in some other direction is amazing...
That’s why they switched from horses to naval ratings after Queen Victoria’s funeral in 1901
Absolutely stunning Pomp & Circumstance. From the lads carrying the coffin & placing it on the cart...to every foot step in sync as they proceed to Westminster. Remove...headdress. Wow!
They've been planning this for decades.
@@joeybaseball7352 I know, but still awesome to watch.
@@missmaggie2620 yeah, it's so awesome to see something they've been planning for years, but didn't bother to include any people of color in the ceremony.
God bless all of you for your kind words .I just made a whole bunch of new friends. Thank you. Lee , England. x
First class by the navy and its always brilliant marching to the pipes and drums did it myself long time ago a proud moment r,i,p, hm the queen
This will live with me forever some Nationalists try to break up our Union but this rekindled something inside me.I think a lot of people will feel the same way so proud to be a Scot and British with our Commonwealth and lovely comment's from people who are not British thank you for taking our Queen to your heart's.
I cried. RIP your majesty
That was so emotional and so touching ❤️
Awesome moment the bagpipes started 🙏
In diesem Moment war ich ein Brite.....RIP Majestät.....
Very proud to be British and all that it stands for, you did us proud ma'am in life and in death! This is exactly why our country is the greatest in the world!
Does anyone know the name of the music played at the start of the ceremony. The bagpipes and the drums 🥁. Quality 🇬🇧

Farewell my Queen.
The Queen made history at 25 and in her passing at 96 she is still making history. The royal family history for centuries is very well documented in detail to this day. I do say Queen Elizabeth was the Queens'- Queen. Never in this lifetime will there ever be another Queen like her Majesty. She was truly one-of-a-kind. A very well-deserved toast to you 🍷. Vaya Con Dios - Milady.
They are playing The Mist Covered Mountains for those asking.
It's probably weird that I am commenting with an opinion on the flower arrangement atop her coffin, now, having said that;
Every little choice the queen makes or made was strategically planned so it's cool to see colors clashing between the coat of arms & the floral arrangement. She still chose the flowers & colors she probably loved. 👍👍
The King chose the flowers, from the gardens at Buckingham Palace, Clarence House and Highgrove.
I think it also fitting as HM The Queen always wore bright colours. A lovely tribute from King Charles.
@@michaelmontagu3979 Thank you for sharing that. They appear much more special/beautiful/love filled with that in mind!🤗
@@michaellstander8971
I’ve always wore poppy dresses at remembrance because I love those who died in the war so much and I was so loved at aged 15; people believed I was paying tribute to Diana and they even called me the new princess of Wales before Catherine. I’m still loved at aged 20 and it’s my 4th year at Remembrance Sunday this year
So moving. ❤️.
Miss my Queen ❤❤
Makes me proud to be British.
RIP The Great Queen Elizabeth
Brilliant
Amazing March and music!
Very special ❤️
The bagpipes give me goose bumps
R.I.P Ma’am 🇬🇧🇬🇧
Does anyone know what piece of music the pipers are playing? Its beautiful.....
The first tune is "Mist Covered Mountains". It was played at her mother's funeral. I don't know what the second tune was.
The second is "Sleep Dearie Sleep"
The sound echoing in those tall streets of the pipe band was something I don’t think I’ll ever forget , incredible.
@@nel_dubbio_mena No. That's not Sleep Dearie Sleep". That tune was played by the lone piper inside the abbey.

Yes thats what I mean.
Outside the church Mist covered mountains and inside Sleep Dairie Sleep

Goodbye your majesty. You took me by surprise; I liked you much more than I thought I did. As our monarch, you did us proud and remained a constant presence in our lives. You will be a hard act to follow. I think you should be remembered as Elizabeth the Great, for you surely were.

Sleep Dearie Sleep
As she did in life, the queen now in death teaches the world a lesson. This one march is like a beacon of hope that Queen Elizabeth is showing us as she did in life. The love and devotion shown on every soldier, every guard, every dignitary and every member of the public is a joy to see.
When will we learn that what is between being born and leaving this earth should be of love for one another, respect for every creed, colour, religion and culture, gender and identity. Society is on a fast road to a bitter end, until we all take one step back, breathe and appreciate what the world could be if only we could take one second each of this magnificent display of love, devotion and respect, that was felt in all our hearts and souls as soon as this march started.
So proud to be British and so proud of every nation around the world that is trying to make society reverse towards a more peaceful existence. Love and hope to every Ukrainian, the world stands with you against tryanny and oppression.
I keep watching it, just can't believe it??
Me too. Especially this procession.

The second tune I believe is Mull of the Mountains
There's only one tune ... "Mist Covered Mountains". Unless you meant the organ tune.
Before flights of angels wing thee to thy rest your Majesty, the Royal Navy will guide thee on thy way to the sound of pipers and muffled drum.
4:10 it finally hit, she's going home.
That's when I lost it.

About 72 billion were there in the crowd watching as all 5 of us paid tribute to Queen Elizabeth II I also remember the moment when my 2009 Woodys grief gone insanity viral in Wales. After the funeral, we all greeted the 72 billion in the crowd and that’s when I overheard “Her and Woody.EXE will be the best monarchs ever; our coronation is literally 15 weeks away and I will become his Queen on July 20th 2023; my 21st birthday

It didn’t beat it when me, my 2009 Woody, my sister, Mummy and Wales’s longest reigning monarch Woody.EXE said goodbye to the Queen. I had a lot more crowds gathering at my house so they could watch all 5 of us say goodbye to our Queen; I’d say about 72 billion showed up that st Julians had to be closed off. I’ve never experienced anything like it; I bet we’ll have more than 72 million for mine and Woody.EXE’s upcoming coronation July 20th, 2023 which is my 21st birthday
