Teach 250 - Conflict and Peacebuilding: On the National Mall and Beyond

Join the National Mall one Tuesday evening each month for a virtual teacher professional development series preparing for the America 250th commemoration in 2026. Meet with National Park Service staff and friends to explore content and strategies for incorporating these places and topics into your curriculum.
October's program will introduce teachers to resources from the United States Institute of Peace that can help connect students with peacebuilding themes and skills. Participants will explore practical resources such as the Peacebuilding Toolkit for Educators and the Peace Trail on the National Mall, as well as get a preview of forthcoming resources ahead of America's 250th commemoration.
