Really enjoyed the video. Also love that you encouraged folks to read that book. I read it a couple years ago and it really changed my mindset on what true success is and who is actually successful, now I wear my clothes longer I don't own an expensive watch and I do without things I "want" and I have so much more! Trying to get my wife to read this book ha ha wish me luck!!! Lol

I am very new to trapping. I am getting a late start in life. I have always wanted to trap when I was younger. So, now that I am retired I wanted to get started. In my state we must put ID tags on all our traps. On cages, I just drilled a hole and used rivets. On the foot holds, body grips, and DP's, what is the best location and what do you use to attach your tags?
You have got some of the best trapping videos on RUclips. Thanks for taking the time to share your knowledge with us. Peace, Mo

Great vid, I loved the way you honored mr freeborough on trapping radio. Do you think on next trapping show you could do one over other commercial baits and lures that you would trust. Maybe ones you use as change ups if yours are not bringing em in.

Very very very good advice. I am one of the people who "has my house paid for, truck paid for, no kids, no wife, and money to live on" . I trap for "pocket money". I charge per animal and no charge to set up. In my area it's a no brainer to a customer that wants to see what they are paying for. Half of my trapping is done on the barter system. Mostly for exclusive hunting and or fishing rights on the property I am trapping.
Clint I have a very important question that pertains to my geographical location. How to consistently catch armadillo? I have tried many many many methods. I can make a very good money if I could catch consistently. The ones who do have lock jaw when asked for advice for obvious reasons.
I will try to find your email. .

Quote from my late father. "No matter what you do, or how much money you make kid, live like your only making half of what you're making, and stick the rest in the bank, because you don't know what life will throw at ya tomorrow."

That all sounds good I'd have a full time job as a river boat engineer but still do jobs here and there and the extra money helps, but over the years I've been working on some baits and lures I got a beaver lure a predator lure and predator bait so far and only really want a small line of products since I work full time. Your video was full of good info on the market situation based on each person cause everything and anything you do' it takes money to make money. 🤑

You are beyond patient!! LOOK INTO A BUSINESS COURSE!!! This is a BUSINESS thing NOT a trapping thing. Wish you were out doing what you really do, and that is trapping and lure making. Not trying to explain to people things that only THEY CAN ANSWER!!! Love ya Clint!!!

Hi Clint how you doin? What are your thoughts on charging people to come in and clean up a severe rat infestation? Like on a farm, dairy, feed and seed? Should I charge per rat if so what's a ballpark price you think I could charge? Thanks for listening to me.

Im out of the Marines now and want to re open my father's trapping business that from a young child and into my teens I worked with him on but then I left to go fight in Iraq. My father past away and took so much knowledge with him. It's a lost art that I want to brush back up on and re open the business and trying to figure it all out and the legalities of the whole thing. I would love any info or help if anyone wants to help a Vet get on his feet. I have no skills other than trigger pulling and explosives that don't translate well in civilian life and I have family.
