Davidov played well, but made too many unforced errors. Needs to get physically stronger and improve accuracy. Some shots were more hopeful than intentional. But he is one of my fav young and upcoming players.
Both T. Davidov and P. Pradat were born in 2010 and will turn 14 this year, that also corresponds to the maximal age that is allowed for the participants of ``Les Petits As''. At least for now, the young ambidextrous american clearly suffers from a power and size deficit. His approach, i.e., more precisely the one of his father could make sense in modern tennis that is characterised by long rallies on slow surfaces. While he may have a comparative advantage in being able in changing hands on his serve, there is however definitely very very little room in the world elite for players who are less than 6 feet at the adult age... Time will tell..
Davidov is developing physically at a much sloweer pace than most kids his age. he musn't despair
Because he's vegetarian. I don't think that should be imposed by his father at such a young age.
I play ambidextrous as well. I would really like to see the potential of someone trained that way from a young age. Teodor and his father both look small so not sure if this experiment will tell much. Hope the kid gets a growth spurt.
Davidov getting over powered too easily. Hopefully he can find a solution to that against the bigger lads.
still gunna beat u lol
@@tayloryin5634 what a stupid statement to make. I never said I could beat him or are you imagining scenarios in your fairy brain?
the solution is the age, Davidov is still 13 against 16 years old boy in this tournament

No ball boy?omg?not good
classic ambidex thing to only hit forehands, do some backhands lad they can be a powerful weapon, you're too predictable with forehands only. with shot selection like this you're going to be overpowered by stronger taller lads who make you run. got sucked up in pradat's tempo by only reacting, grigor dimitrov been like that for years, not easy winning atp titles if you cant set up easy points
backhands are not a powerful weapon, but a liability. There is no reason for him to hit backhands. You think if he is overpowered with the forehand then backhand will fix that? LOL
for versatility he can do forehand slices and dropshots and sutuff
He s 13 and the other kid 16..2 forehands are better than any backhand..he needs to keep up the good work and put variety of forehand hits..easiest forehand dropshots or slices , easiest topspin lobs with 2 forehands, more hits straight in the lines etc.. he needs better servis though and he is not very quick in feet..these are his disadvantages..not his forehands!
@@iankysyrath lmao, they're both 14??
i mean damn, just straight away telegraphing that you have no idea what you're talking about
@@douchopotamus3755 whoa...you can talk; now you have to think and talk..good luck
@@iankysyrath lmfao, is that supposed to be an insult? 0/10 on that one. Try again.
