Tom Snyder Tomorrow Show Credibility Gap 1975

In 1975, Tom Snyder introduced a recorded segment on his program, The Tomorrow Show that was a parody of his own show. In it, Harry Shearer appears as Snyder. Also featured as 'guests' are Michael McKean and David Lander, who were the two nitwits Lenny & Squiggy on Laverne & Shirley at the time. Shearer is a well-known voice artist, still performing voices for The Simpsons.
This recording was originally made on 2-inch quad tape from the NBC network feed, recorded in Columbia, SC.

Several sources lead to the possibility that Dan Aykroyd's impression of Tom Snyder was inspired from seeing this video of Shearer's impression.)
