I think the fact that your four track Pioneer conroller only can bear to play two channels on its own at xxx price, leave it to Denon then to make a hq media player that delivers the missing channels +++ affordably just speaks volumes. Nice setup though, looks like a lot of fun what with the turntable and that gizmo at the top there

Really hoping Denon eventually buys out native instruments and they have better Traktor compatibility while also taking features from Traktor and integrating them into Engine. It would be like CDJs on steroids. Alpha Theta is really cheaping out with their new plastic equipment and charge a premium. Denon can be the competitor that puts the pressure on them to stop cutting corners.
Can be used on any mixer. Just take the RCA outs of the sc6000 and connect to your mixer. It won’t share data / music with your other decks unless it’s a Denon
