no body talked about my uncle Surjan Singh Bhandari (NSG COMMANDO) who sacrificed his life in this operation
he was comatose for 600 days till his death on May 19, 2004
He was awarded by the Kirti Chakr

It was such a sad incident for people if Gujarat.. the way Col Joshi describes the incident shows the spirit of Indian army and NSG commandos who are ready to die for the people of this great nation. Soldiers are dying, getting injured and yet smile of the face covering all that, no other army in the world can match this spirit.

Yes this is important discussion for the younger generation so that instead of wasting their life they can serve our nation . I grew up listening to such actions by my uncles in different posts startin from baramulla massacre onwards.Various Indo pak wars, trenches,sirens,blackouts,etc of Srinagar. Memories brought back . Wow great fun
