Trudeau defends financial assistance programs after calls from Conservatives to reel-in spending

- During Thursday's session of question period in the House of Commons in Ottawa, Conservative MP Jasraj Singh Hallan grilled Prime Minister Justin Trudeau about government spending amid levels of high inflation in Canada.
Trudeau retorted that his government's spending is necessary to assist Canadians struggling with finances, even though Hallan argued that those measures, along with the cost of necessities, are costing Canadians too much.
Plus, Liberals were also asked about an investigation by the Department of National Defence (DND), which looked into contracts previously awarded to a firm that now has reported ties to the Chinese government, as concerns of foreign interference in Canada grow.
Liberal MP Pam Damoff said as soon as this information came to light, the contract was terminated.
Ontario-based Sinclair Technologies, which designs and manufactures communications equipment, was given contracts for DND work between 2009 and 2013. The 12 contracts, worth $252,296 in total, were for work on “antennas, waveguides and related equipment,” procurement data shows.

It feels like the government provides $1000 of financial assistance to a family that then costs that family $1500 in taxes. In my opinion that is how people are feeling in general.
And then still take that 1500 in taxes away from the people who don’t have kids, imagine how they feel 🙃

Justin is willing to throw BILLIONS around the world! But Canadian’s provinces have to beg for healthcare funding? It’s OUR DAMN MONEY! It’s what we pay these insane taxes for! Smiles and turns his back on taxpayers.

When is it outrageous to lose tax payer money. I can see a bit of money getting sent to the wrong people but lets cap that at 500 million which is still no small number. However the number is 27.5 BILLION. That’s Billion with a capital B. That our money. Think how health care could have been funded with that money.

Rent across gst is over 1500 wats 500$ it’s a slap in the face. All these handout will raise your income and tax bracket and next year we all pay more and more. Liberals have done nothing but divide and enact laws for more over reach and the silencing of citizens and going into bank accounts of the people who put your rich food on the table. We the people shouldn’t be forced to pay taxes while all politicians in office have expenses paid by us plus a salary= free money. That's why Jesus had to die on the cross for our sins. This is why God is able to give us Mercy.

You die for your own sins.
Option B.
Ask for mercy and accept that Jesus died on the cross for you

The last half of Romans chapter 5 explains original sin and how we can escape it by having Faith in Jesus Christ.

Not all corporations are making record profits but some are due to the failed policies of the liberal government supported by the ndp , green and bloc Quebecois, it has nothing to do with the corporations. It is not companies just hiking price because they feel like it. It is a function of the free economy based on supply and demand. Failed liberal government policies of regulate, spend and tax are killing the economy and driving inflation up.
