So many things they should do with the prototypes. Minimum they should have a tag saying who they are as always see videos of people trying to figure out who their proto was. Especially if it isn't a line you are familiar with. Or better yet they should come in the box. As I would personally want to display them in the box. The other main one is they should have a certificate of authenticity as how do you know if a proto is the real one? As I have seen a few on eBay that I am not sure are actually the real ones or fakes.
I'm just curious what will become of Funko now that Funmaker Mike will no longer be a part of it. And he was a big big part of it, especially for the conventions.
My box is here so it’s finally time to catch up with all the content, a 50 piece Freddy didn’t expect to see that. I agree 100% no franny when she’s all over the marketing is crazy. I look forward to seeing all the other show editions. Fundays tickets got to crazy prices, I am kinda bummed I missed the watch party by avoid the content from the event. I’m sure it was a blast.
Missed opportunities? Yeah, yeah, I get it. Don’t stop shooting till you have something to complain about.😈🤣 but seriously, the positives definitely outweigh the negatives this year. I would love to get that Marvin the Martian but I think that might be a teeny tiny little bit out of my reach, luckily, I am not a completionist. I had a great time hanging out in your stream. Friday night, it was a blast, thanks for always doing such a great job, spreading around the happiness and good times!! I in joyed the watch party even though I did not stay up for the 4 hour that you were on for but what I got to see was great and read everyone comments on SDCC I loved.
I was pretty excited as more stuff was revealed. I felt good about the Sodas because I think it shows they know that there is a demand for Sodas. I do think they could have really amped that up by doing exactly what you said. We want them all but wow it would have been crazy with one style can for Freddy and Proto with multiple chases. I do wish we got a non Metallic regular pirate Freddy. The live you had made the event very exciting for people that could not be there. Awesome video!
Funko did great with the wacky wobbler, sodas, bitty pops, and piece counts this year. But as far as pops go, this year’s fundays was the weakest in years imo. There were a handful of good pops like the Pirate Freddy, Mr. Freeze, and Rocky but most of the others were pretty meh.
I think the regular Wobbler looked good, was not in love with the metallic Wobbler. Bitty's were great for sure! I think the Freddy's were good overall, definintely not the best year but for sure not the worst. Piece counts were great which is what I feel like people care about the most these days 😅
Loved the theme this year, mascots are cool, but think the Freddys this year are a bit random, especially for the online edition boxes 😕 I also dislike that all the boxes have the same wobbler and bittys

My tracking number says my pirate box is to arrive Thursday. I have not gotten an email about the kraken. I like the Freddy shirt, that's cute and baseball rules.

I'm with you they did a lot of great things with Fundays. Lack of Franny was a big disappointment but makes me feel even better about skipping the at home box. Glad the in person box was 3 Freddys at least. Seems odd they haven't done soda chases as most are not really hunted except the super low count Freddy or that Freddy as Vader. Good summary.

IMO on no franny... this was planned before Franny was a thing and they couldnt fit her into the boxes/show
That's a good point Tison. I have heard that the BOF and Items made for Fundays are put into production 8-10 months prior to thier release.

I got my Fundays online box yesterday. The Pop Buckler. Got Elvis and Zartan as my Freddy so good ones but not much value.
