I love how orisa was canonically made to counter doomfist!
She's actually a canon Reinhardt Counter not doom. You see her model in Reins hero short. Of Course doom is a very similar interaction, so she countered him as a side effect.
@@pokemon202668 She’s canonically a Doom Counter too cause Doom was the one that attacked Numbani and Orisa was the one who made him run away. Orisa also has a voice line when you kill Doom, she says “By Design”

@@Conongnho No its her model, just her original militant form before being restored by the girl. She even has a skin that puts her back into that form. just like bastion is the same model as all the other e54 i believe they were called. But originally had a tank turret form in game instead of the stationary form seen in the short.

I did it all for ya bb, funny how Ram counters nothing? Lol I always find good use with Ram against a DVA sometimes a Winston, can be good against torb, and even widow, long range dps to keep pressure on them and you can put a shield up to block their sight lines, I guess there's just better counters to pick ;)
Its funny though it all depends on what rank you are because I've had plenty of games where I've outplayed heroes that counter what I'm playing, everything is always situational I suppose and every game is different that's the beauty and addiction that comes with ow, every game is different

Orisa is definitely a better counter to hog than Sigma
She’s also a really good counter to wrecking ball because of the spear being able to stop him while swinging with full momentum and the fire rate/damage is useful with his large hit box

If you created a counter list website that you can quickly search a character and get counters in every role weighing how effective and reliable counters could be; It would be extremely useful, and I think could be extremely popular. Something everyone would use. And something Id be willing to pay a small monthly fee if you kept it updated witch each patch. And then bundle it with your content additionally. Could improve sales quite a bit.
Then you could grow it into a team picker with suggestions and details on why the counters could work with specific oppressive players etc
Adding weight values on compositions and types of team comps (Dive for example) that could complement each other and once fleshed out it could bring highly valuable insight into Metas and Character versatility and place in the Meta
This seems like a no-brainer as there isnt any good version of this available right now and you likely have the some of the best resources to get this done in the community
You could team up with someone like overpicker and improve what theyve started
Or see if you can buy or take over heropicker

My favorite Rein counter is Road Hog
They both need to get in close, but Rein needs to get in closer, so by backing up the road hog can shred Rein's health/shield. Other than that if Rein tries to bully your back line, hog can physically stop him with his hook, and his hook can interrupt Rein's charge.
And now with the hog rework it's even more effective thanks to metered healing and pigpen.
The problem with Doom against Symmetra is Sym's turret that can deny Doom mobility when his fighting
I'd just think Symmetra is obnoxious to fight against as any hero tbh

I've found countering Bastion with Sigma has worked pretty well. Use grasp while he's in sentry mode gets you plenty of overhealth
As a brig main rein is the best counter as you need to keep your distance from him but brig has no value if she isn’t up close

In the plat/diamond ranks its the reverse Doomfist isn't a counter to sym. Symmetra is a soft counter to any doom going through choke points. His rollouts are often slowed down by 3 well place turrets leaving him extremely vulnerable. The dooms also stay in the backline longer than they should and get beamed to death by level 3 of Symmetra's gun.
In my opinion, zarya is a better counter to sym cause if you are to trying to build a charge off of her she resets your charge if she bubbles that is if you yourself don't want to charge her. I think zarya comes out on top most times.
I think rama is a better counter for rien he can punch thru his shield and thru him to hit ppl behind him

As a bastion main, I think I’d disagree with the idea that dva is the best counter to bastion. Sure, defense matrix is great for denying his turret, but it doesn’t last forever and the dva has to focus on the turret bastion leaving her open to the rest of his team (now without her defense matrix). In my opinion, a much better tank counter is sigma not only because of his shield, but also his grasp. His combo of shield and grasp can completely nullify a bastions turret and unlike dva, the bastion can just hold down fire till defense matrix runs out since shooting grasp gives sigma armor.

I understand why you picked D:VA for Tracer but my favourite counter pick for her is Winston. Great mobility and easy to hit a tracer teleporting all over the place.
In ow1 I won a game by camping next to my Ana and DMing all of a tracer’s shots when she tried to kill her. 😂 That poor tracer was not allowed a single kill lol. But that only worked because our other tank was a ball who was doing a really good job at creating space.
Dva is still the best tracer counter though because she can still eat all her shots and has burst damage to force her cooldowns. Dva also has mobility that is on cooldown just as much as Winston’s, so I don’t understand your argument.
rammatra is the best counter to reinheart ive seen, punching through his shields, slowing him down and using his staff from a distance to put pressure and reduce his shield
I feel Ramattra Is the butter counter to brig as his pummel goes through her shield
Ram is the perfect rein counter you have more range and can punch through his shield so he’ll just be eating shield

Please do a vid for DPS that counter enemies and Supports that better assist their teammates (Like maybe a character with more mobility could use healing from Zenyatta, since you just need to keep line of sight and it will receive constant heal like Genji or Tracer, a character with a large health pool that dies easily could use Suzu and massive Ofuda healing from Kiriko, things like that for Support).
In my opinion, he's a good counter to Orisa (difficult tho in Deathmatch XD) and Reinhart
From personal experience ram is a good counter for Winston, sigma, Brigette, Reinhardt, and roadhog. He’s good for anyone that uses a shield because of his shift ability going through them. And roadhog is just a big easy target for the same ability and ult

Anything other than flying or laser Orisa is king well queen for me, the bullying potential is insane and even with half good supports you can really waste time
I think it's mccassidy counter's rein because it only takes about 2 bursts from mccassidy's alt fire to breakthrough rein's shield I do that pretty much all the time to bully rein.🤔🤨🧐
I’ve also noticed sigma is a better counter for bastion bc of his surge eating up bastions artillery bullets
It's good if he targets you but as a bastion player myself we are more likely to target the squishes in which case the range of DVA's Matrix and her mobility make it easier to protect the team from both his turret and artillery.
@@Mandus_The_Mad As a masters tank player who plays both, Sigma is definitely better as a counter. Extremely easy for him to nullify AND destroy a Bastion player. Dva is #2, but is still extremely killable by a Bastion player depending on circumstances. Sigma would have to try to get killed by Bast and is more likely to cause a swap.

Sombra annoys me as dva because the second I stop looking for her or shooting her, I am hacked. And you can never kill her because she tps to a health pack and it back 5 seconds later. I also can never detect her when I spy check :( At least hack isn’t as debilitating as in ow1 and you can fight back. But I literally can’t focus knowing Sombra is coming for me any second. She is most annoying when she hacks you while invisible as you are mid flight. That is PAIN.

You say you tried giving exposure to all of the tank picks but why is my boy Wrecking Ball not getting any love? The only time he is mentioned is in how to counter him, which tbh Hog really only has his hook that is easy to avoid if you're paying attention.

Hog got nerfed to hell a couple days ago, he is worse than JQ in almost every way now. I’d go Orisa into JQ.

Metas/patches change things. Orisa was nerfed back after being buffed to deal with hog at the end of January so 2 months ago seems about right since Orisa was insanely strong on top of Zarya getting a slight buff at the start of the year
Dva is a soft counter to Tracer? Whenever I encounter an enemy Dva as Tracer I usually win especially with the pulse bomb on.
in my opinion Doom is the better counter to Tracer personally

I think Winton is better since after she blinks, you just have to turn your mouse in her general direction to continue damaging her, bubbledancing can deny some of her value / waste a blink, and you can follow her with jumppack after a blink / recall.

agreed. definitely seems like there was a pigeonholded attempt to get Reinhardt more screen time. Fan, roll, fan, deadeye cancel, fan is a kill in many situations where you're even slightly overextended.
Doomfist had a good fight with Orisa
Have to say, beg to differ that Reinhardt is best counter for Sigma…I’ve been playing Sigma quite a lot recently, and really struggle where there’s either a decent Ramattra or Zaryaas as the opposing tank…Reinhardt can be tricky, but far more manageable compared to those two…
What i think I noticed is that reinheart barely counters another tank (if at all) showing how useless he can be in an average players hands at times. (When countering another tank specifically)
Rein counters Rein, Sig, and has a favorable matchup into Zarya. While some tanks like Orisa sport many more "counters", it's worth note that Rein's tank match ups aren't polarized. He doesn't counter much, but as far as picks go, only really Orisa or a better Reinhardt give immediate impulse to swap characters.

I would say that DVA is better against Winston. But I would definitely say that Zarya is better against Genji than Winston. Genji and Winston can honestly go either way. Just depends on the Genji’s aim.
I’m slowly typing through the video; but I would also pick Rammatra if they use Brigitte. Your sentinel form can destroy her, and she can’t block his pummels. In a Sigma matchup against brig, she can still block his Rock, and damage him through his black hole.
I would also use DVA over JQ against Zenyatta. Zen’s size is nice for both of them because of their weapon spreads; but DVA can close distance to the zen faster than JQ can. She can also Defence matrix Zenyatta’s charged volley’s, stopping his damage.

Nah Sigma is nowhere near a strong of counter to Brig as Ramattra is. His kit is practically built to shred Brigitte. His ult and nemesis form get around her entire playstyle

How? Your artillery is a bullet hose with no shut off and your greatest source of damage. Your unlimited ammo is great fuel as well. Her primary fire literally ignores your only defense and her basic power ignores your ult. I think you've been playing some bad Zaryas my guy.
