I found that if you top up each bottle with tap water and drop a steel shaker in, it helps to mix it a lot better inside the bottle. Still need to decant it into a cup and thin it more prior to airbrushing though. The more I use it the more I like it but as you've mentioned, can be a little tricky to work with.
Ondřej Šusta, yes i tend to use them from time to time ,even ordered some more colors. Its a great paint for this price . But every bottle has its own properties ,with every color you need to "play" individually to spray it well. Still cant manage how to use varnishes with airbrush.Also after full cure it provides good surface that can resist minimal stressing . Also some colors has a bit toy'ish look :)
For airbrush I tried for the first time today with Italeri paint and it's not great ! I used Italeri thinner for dilution 60% thinner and 40% paint and it's not really good. I will try 70% thinner and 30% paint and I will see.

First I tought it was too thick for my 0.2 mm needle, but changing to a 0.4 mm dont work well either. Tried more thinner and vallejos flow improver as Italeri dont have one and it still starts to spit.
I like Italeri paints because they report Federal Standard code and the paint range covers near all kits produced by Italeri and ww2 theme, namely Italian😻! they are good quality both with brush and airbrush when adequately thinned ... being strangely similar to....Vallejo ...of course it’s just my feeling....
Hello, I've recently started modeling and I'm using Italeri kits and paints. While with the paints I can thin them well with water I'm having problems with semigloss clear. I just seem to never be able to thin it enough and seems to always kind leave brush marks. Do you have any tips?
hey buddy. i have a problem with italeri acrylic paints. the italeri set "us infantry" recommended for the american soldiers uniform flat light green colour. but when i boyght it, it appeared like this color is too much bright. i dont know what to do with that. can you help me?
Modeling paint are usually brighter than real reference color, because modelers use filters and washes that makes colors darker. Also colors are made brighter to fit scale of natural light. Because human eye will see falling light differently on 1:1 scale models and on downsized replicas. Also italeri thinner can make colors brighter, so use water, and they also appear brighter while still wet.
I am using italeri colours many years and I think that are one of the best in scale modelling.Easy to use and very good quality of paint.

For airbrushing these paints are not that great due to their consistency. But for brush - i am having hard time finding better paints.

Yes, but if you will be playing with them it will rub off
