I totally build gift baskets for people the way Jazz did. I buy a bunch of little things that go together in flavors or scents that I know the other person likes. Relaxation stuff, pampering stuff, coffee, tea, hot cocoa, mugs, slippers, cozy socks, nice lotions, candles, chocolate or whatever kind of candy the person likes, sometimes stationary or photo albums, stuff I know they want or need but wouldn't buy themselves, it just depends on the person and how well I know them.
