Just discovered Florence & The Machine this eve...watched Snow White and the Huntsman. Heard this song at the end and was blown away; had to know who it was. OMG what a sound! So sweeping, powerful, and yet breathy at the same time. Just phenomenal! I haven't been that stunned by a band's sound since Bring Me to Life by Evanescence. Just *wow* !!!!

is it just me, or does everyone else love these better versions of the Grimm tales? They are supposed to be dark and creepy and these new films (hansel and gretel: witchhunters, snowwhite and the hunstman, malificent and probably more to come) are so good because they really show how the original characters were supposed to be. The Grimm Brothers REALLY brightened up the Fairytales for children. The original stories are much darker and were used for cautionary tales. This bent toward a more 'adult' version of the tales is actually more true to the ones that our ancestors told by the fire place.
One of "The Little Mermaid" , featuring Ursula's point of view of the story , should TOTALLY be next. That way , some justice for the villains and the *true* darkness they showed in their original stories can be shown.
This song is totally awesome and unique, the combination of the soaring vocals, epic orchestral backing plus the heavy, half-pace tribal drums provide a serious yet somewhat uplifting and euphoric experience. Add in that sweet portamento bass that comes in half way through and you have yourself a recipe for success.

I remember watching this movie with my mom in the cinema when I was literally 12 yrs old and being in awe during the end credits. Such a powerful song and voice, I had to search for the woman who sang it and, to this day, I absolutely adore Florence + The Machine (I'm almost 20 now)
