Incredible..! I met Victor, and always considered it a privilege. I was visiting a friend in NC and one of the highlights of that trip was meeting this incredible man. If we were all like this we would have peace, not war. Look forward to seeing Victor in a better world very soon.

It is March 20, 2022. I am a disfellowshiped Jehovah's Witness. I am currently working on becoming reinstated. Very moving story, the honesty & the integrity of that brother & what not only him but other jehovahs witnesses, that may or may not have survived the concentration camps, ! I take my hat off to them, the atrocities’ & the way the prisoners were treated is ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING, ! I really hope that situation never happens again! 🐥👱🏽♀️👨🏼⚕️😀💐🤗🪴

I love and am proud of my brothers and sisters, like Brother Schnell, worldwide who put Jehovah first in their lives and obey the laws of their country as long as those laws do not conflict with the laws written in the Bible. I had the privilege of having a German family, that I did not know before, stay in my home in Brooklyn for two weeks when we all attended an International Convention of Jehovah' Witnesses in New York. We didn't speak their language and they knew little English but we had a great time and enjoyed their company very much. I have been a JW since 1964 when I got baptized. I and two of my spiritual sisters went to the UN to stop the persecution in Malawi Africa at the time Jehovah's Witnesses were being persecuted there and they did. We are a peaceful religion and do not take part in any wars. We will not kill our brothers in other countries because of their politics as we are all citizens of Jehovah's Kingdom. I knew and loved Manny and Audrey Appel who lost his father, who was beheaded and their brother who was shot for being Jehovah's Witnesses.

These people that say “child molesters in the religion” are not right. Like everyone is human. There have been cases like that all over the world. Just because that’s one persons case doesn’t mean you have to stereotype the everybody.
I agree but the society should learn form past mistakes and report all incidents of child molestation to the police not just in states which require it.
Yes God forgives those who sincerely repent & stop unclean practices. None are perfect. Only Jehovah knows the heart. Only he can judge. But make no mistake dear one, God will judge immoral ones. Read Galatians 5:19-21..on the positive side read further vs 22 & 23
There is more than one pedo in the organisation. In Australia alone, there were over 1,000 known alleged pedos over 50 years. The worst of it was that the organisation did not report one to the authorities, not one.
I was raped by a ministerial servant. He took my virginity at 12 years old. I had to give details of my rape in front of three elders, my parents, and my abuser. That was the most humiliating day of my life. They said because there weren’t 2 witnesses to the rape, I’d have to leave it in Jehovahs hands. They told me not to call the police because that would bring reproach on Jehovahs name. He’s still an active witness. I wonder how many other kids he raped. How can u people defend this sick organization??!

Rapists and pedophiles are protected in this organization and the victims are punished and silenced. Which is an absolute disgrace and criminal. Rapists and pedophiles are criminals and shouldn’t be protected from facing the full force of the law. This organization is delusional in thinking the creator would accept this unscriptural and disgusting criminal behavior. As if Jesus would tolerate or protect a rapist or pedo. Wake up people. There are crimes being committed against vulnerable people in this organization and they are being deliberately covered up. This organization that’s so concerned about their reputation was the LAST religion to sign up to the Australian redress scheme for sexual abuse victims. They only signed as a last resort after the Australian government threatened to revoke their charity status and they’d have to start paying tax on the millions being donated. So money motivated them in the end not doing right by the victims. The two witness rule is from the mosaic law that was made redundant when Jesus died for us. This organization shouldn’t be using sections of the old mosaic law that were replaced by Jesus. If they are a Christian organization they would follow Jesus’ teachings and not the mosaic law. It suits them to use the two witness rule. We all know that rapists and pedo’s don’t commit their crimes with witnesses around. That organization is the perfect environment for sexual predators. Know your Bible and don’t get sucked into this demonic cult. Research, research, research. Don’t take their biased word for it. Stay away.

He was born in 1916 and would have believed the orgs constantly changing teaching about 'this generation'. He probably didn't hear their latest about 'overlapping' generations. His faith in the Watchtower was so strong, I guess he would have believed that nonsense as well.

The Watchtower says "In other cultures or localities, beards are not the custom and are not considered acceptable for Christian ministers. In fact, having one may hinder a brother from bringing glory to God by his dress and grooming and his being irreprehensible.-Rom. 15:1-3; 1 Tim. 3:2, 7."
This human thinking, applies in places like Australia and the USA. There is no biblical requirement for christians not to have beards and in those areas, beards are acceptable.
It's interesting because you talk about enlightenment or new light. We can see in their own publications that beards were once acceptable for JWs, even Pastor Russel had one whereas their next leader, Rutherford stated they were no longer acceptable.
This is only one little example. Their human ideas on 'this generation' is fascinating when you look at their continual flip flopping over the decades.
Not one mainstream church did a single thing about preaching the good news and yet the last chapter and verse in Matthew's gospel was there for all to see and respond to by doing just that . Of course there must be plenty of people out there saying 'where is this promised presence ? ' but not realising JC said that would be the general response. Seems to me mainstream religion does nothing and their mainstream adherents do nothing either yet the people trying their best 1 preaching good news 2 not being involved in politics or 3 not taking up arms are the deluded meanwhile .let's just stick to doing NOTHING . Check the parable of 3 slaves given money and responsibilities to increase their masters possessions 2 did as commanded and we're commended for their efforts the 3rd slave did Nothing. . Now please look around you and tell me who that applies to today ?
In the congregations of Jehovah's Witnesses they practice rejecting the blood and body of Christ in the Lord's Supper!
the only problem for Jehovah's Witnesses is not to take as an example what Jesus instituted in their memory, which was to eat and drink the emblems in the Lord's Supper! for it is one baptism and one hope of eternal life. Ephesians 4: 4-6 note 4- There is one body and one spirit, just as you were called in a hope to which you were called; 5- one Lord, one faith and one baptism; 6- God, unique and Father of all, who is above all, and through all and in all.

From what he described JW's were treated ferally well by the Germans at least by the standards in the camps compared to the Jewish people.
Because JW's are honest & could be used in situations as say a barber who could shave the nazies without a threat with a razor. Just one example I read. But make no mistake, they were tortured, persecuted, ridiculed & executed as well. Read the book "Jehovah's Witnesses & the Nazies" by Michel Renaud & Sylvie Graffard. Today JW's young & old are being unjustly imprisoned in Russia for their brave stand as Jehovah God's servants for reading & sharing Bible truths. Jesus said: "If they persecuted me they'll persecute you." Read the Bible gospel book of John chapter 15 verse 20
