Apple LED Cinema Display Upgrade

I bought a second hand Apple Cinema Display advertised as being in perfect condition. The connector cables were a bit worn out but functional but I found out the right speaker had blown out.
I then decided I wanted to install a KVM switch so I can share the monitor between the work windows laptop and my Mac mini using a single USB-C cable rather than mini display port and a USB A plug.
The display has a mini display port for the video and a USB A cable for the webcam and for the internal USB hub for the 3 rear ports.
This monitor also has a faulty power supply where it will remain black after coming out of sleep mode. To get it going again I need to pull out the power cord for 10 seconds and try again. So to make this easier I installed a simple power switch.

No issues with cooling. Monitor runs fine with no issues

Great work. I'm thinking of doing something similar... Contemplating upgrading the Web cam also. Did you notice if it's a separate module?

Will u be able to make a video for Apple Thunderbolt Display, enhanced a 1cable PD to modern MacBook using USB C.

I’m sorry I can’t. I only have cinema displays with the old mini display port.
