They decided to change the protagonist to sonic because eggman was too similar to Mario because of his moustache, so what they did instead was combine the blue rabbit and eggman bam they made sonic, the rabbit was the body of sonic and the spin dash was the body of eggman or a design to make it round.
But mighty was supposed to be the original

Okay my favorite smash bros character has to be Kirby because his moveset is just insane and also when he inhales the other smash fighters he takes their abilities which was pretty cool. So my favorite Smash game would either be Super Smash Bros Brawl or Super Smash Bros Ultimate because they have a good roster and they both have a good story mode but mine has to be Brawl because it was a really good Smash Bros game to play when I was a kid. Okay what would happen if Kirby had a crossover game with someone I mean I know the only crossover game Kirby was in which is Smash Bros but what would happen if he did have a crossover game with Mario or Sonic cause that would be cool to see

Eggman was never fully planned out to be the main character, he was just one of the options. There was the blue rabbit, the armadillo, and egg. Sega mainly wanted the blue rabbit so our egg fella wasn’t really important until he became the main villain

Sonic does indeed have more of a variety of villains than you might think: Mephiles, Iblis, Chaos, Metal Sonic, Dark Gaia, Solaris, Black Doom, Eggman Nega, Merlina, Erazor Djinn, the Deadly Six, Infinite, Jet and his Babylon Rogues (well they’re technically just overly competitive assholes) Sage, Lyric and Captain Whisker.

Incenerore is the best of smash bros because of his grab ability that always 1 shots. I really like Lucario for 2 reasons, 1 hes my fav pokemon, 2 in smash bros double team and reverse any attack if timed correctly, the only exception is Incenerore's grab.
