This week WE FINISH the San Diego Koi Pond build, a completely custom KOI POND with Brian Helfrich from Team Aquascape! We have an incredible team of water feature artists, including Ralph Biezad from Pondscapes AZ and Chris Hanson from Team Aquascape. We are building block walls inside the pond, underwater LED lighting, bridges, Stacked Slate Urn and many other cool additions!

Atlantis Water Gardens is located at 3017 Route 10 in Denville (Morris County), NJ (New Jersey) with a full pond supply store and specializes in the design, maintenance and construction of backyard fish ponds, boulder waterfalls, fountainscapes, decorative water features, natural looking ponds, koi fish ponds and outdoor goldfish ponds for backyard landscapes.

All of your water features are amazing, how can anyone dislike what you do? taking challenges in your stride and able to keep pressing on is an inspiration. I wish I had the money to realise my dream water feature but it's going to take a few years to ave up just to do it myself. keep up the amazing work I keep getting new ideas.

Magnificent, nothing short of a masterpiece. And it's just a Hardscape right now. Imagine how much more amazing it's going to look once it has been all planted in. Can't wait to see the revisit on this one. It took some serious grunt I see, but you guy's knocked it out of the park!

Hey Jack One of your best jobs - beautiful --big job but you and your team made it look amazing--One thing I have to say is I hope the home owner plants some shrubs at the top of the hill and sides to hide the cyclone fence and house. It will also reduce any kind of erosion. Got to try to hide stuff that doesn't to natural -- like the house and fence. Hope you recommended that idea to the owner. I sure with your vision you saw that. as for the pond and waterfall I WANT ONE LIKE THAT.

Man-oh-man-oh-man-oh-man-oh-man-oh-man-oh-MAN-oh-man! I just knew it. Having been browsing RUclips pondbuilders for over a year now, Brian out of Aquascape and you and your team from Atlantis have been my two favorite guys to watch. I told my wife a while back that I wish I had the disposable income to hire both of you to put in a pond on my Tennessee land because I just knew your two styles would blend perfectly together. This project proves it. Plus, I can now (I did many months ago) add Chris into the mix of favorites. You guys definitely have a gift. This pond here is absolutely... let me go search for a word... phenomenal! Whatever that guy paid, it's worth every penny. Great work guys, to you and all the CoC's that worked with you.

I’m intrigued with the block wall. I realize it was used mainly for the future patio construction but it also seems like a great way to have deeper water all the way up to the patio edge. Do you plan on using this technique in the future or was it a one off. As a patio builder this seems like a go to technique considering the block wall really isn’t in a highly visible area, and there are many natural looking block options. Awesome work!!!

The cinder blocks should have been natural rock, that clean edge doesn't look bad, but they could have better aligned it with the overall natural theme.
When the landscaping and hardscaping is finish the overall vision will be better realized

No Jaak. It’s not awesome... it’s EPIC! I can’t wait to see the patio done and plants planted. I think some white bird of paradise (Strelitzia nicolai)& bambusa clumping bamboo is perfect for screening those houses further up the hill.
I hope I can build a koi pond soon I'm saving up my money. I built a pond in my back yard with a stream but it had to many problems so I need to redo it. I have been working on this project for 10 years on my own but I don't have much income so it has been slow going. I have almost given up but your videos have been very helpful and inspiring they have reignited my fire. I hope I can get back to it soon.

With all the rocky soil, would it be possible to use carpet pad under the liner and above the underlayment? Or would that be a bad idea? I'm about to build a pond here in Utah and I also have rocky soil and happen to have access to a lot of carpet pad.

i'm getting close to having binge watched all of your videos lol. i am curious, at 4:42 why does chris pea gravel an area... then spray foam over it, then put geotextile fabric over it? what is he doing here? kinda interested in becoming a CAC. i'm a nurse currently but i do it for money. don't love it. would love to do something i love also.
That is called a bib. It keeps the water above the gravel and flowing down the waterfall
The falls and cascading is beautiful to me, the pond a little too small for my taste.
