Hand breeding indeed have high hatch rate but kinda not safe for your fish. I can do hand breed on koi and comet but never on goldfish hand breed for goldfish kinda hard for me. (Those koi and comet fish that I hand breed are my friends koi I used to work as breeder at his farm of course he only have 2 pair but he quit after 1 year because need of money so he sold all of his breeder) Sometimes we can get thousand of fry. And we use mud pond for the grow out pond and feed them pellets, when they like just hatch we feed them daphnia(a lot) then after a week tubifex(1-2kg per week still depends on season) and we move them to mud pond when they 1 months old.
