I agree, they should replace football with futsal as an Olympic sport.

@@edwinwan02 I don't think so, football in Olympics might be useless but it's still give so many benefits to the IOC especially the streaming and the viewers. Just add futsal for Summer Olympic without replace any others sports

Its because of some conflict between two futsal governing bodies FIFA and AMF about under which system should futsal eventually been organised in Olympics.

it's because Fifa... other sporting boards (e.g. Fiba, IAAF) are eager to add events in the Olympics for popularity but Fifa wants its World Cup to be most prestigious. And! they don't need the Olympics to promote the sport since it's already popular worldwide. They already have Fifa futsal World Cup and they don't want the Olympics to be the biggest futsal event so ignored. A reason why Fifa added a 23 year age restriction to the Olympic football; to keep the standards low.

Paraguay no logró clasificar porque quedó tercera del Sudamericano Sub18 de 2018, el COI hizo que los torneos de futsal de los Juegos tengan pocos equipos participantes, y por lo tanto pocos cupos que entregar en juego, por lo que clasificó Brasil por ganar ese Sudamericano.
