Yes, the plastic packaging is a nightmare. They put textured panties on the MH dolls. I collected MH dolls for a few years when they first came out, and so have quite a few of them. My favorite character was Ghoulia, the nerdy zombie. That’s probably why I’m still considering adding Blue Anomaly to my growing Smartdoll collection. Congrats on your first MH doll.

Honestly that’s more or less the same way most playline dolls are packaged nowadays… ugh 😩 such a pain, they really act like everyone is going to open the box and steal the dolls right there in store asle amongst all the other people. so not true though!, let alone have the time to get through it all in the time a child expects. Congratulations on your first MonsterHigh Frankie Stein doll. The Theameing , storytelling and related media is wonderful. I hope you and John find other 2022 doll releases (and those from the 2010/2015 era) you enjoy as well. My ❤️ for MonsterHigh is actually what brought me to SmartDoll when Danny fist announced Zombie Anomaly. Who feels like a mashup of Frankie Stein and Lagoona Blue; two core characters to this spooky world of legendary monsters (And is still my Grail SmartDoll).
I started with Monster High when they first came out in Australia, and way back then (2011, 2010 for the US I think) and Wave 1 were in Coffin shaped boxes. Later waves switched to regular rectangle boxes. Frankie has always been my fave, with Ghoulia being a close 2nd fave. *Not tattoos - they are stitches holding her body together as she is the Daughter of Frankenstein and his Bride. *Textured butt is underpants. So they are never completely nude. *Body size - torso will fit Bratz clothing, Barbie clothes are too big on the torso, but tight on the hips. MH do fit into Bratzillas clothing For any non MH Fans, I recommend watching the original short cartoons (about 5mins long ish) as they have loads of funny moments and Frankie regularly loses her hand. Just look them up on the official Monster High RUclips channel.
I have Frankie Stein and Operatta mashup collection, Venus Mcflytrap in the cheerleader outfit, Gigi the 13 Wishes movie, OG Draculaura, Nefera the older sister of Cleo de Nile (if Im not mistaken), Kiyomi, and Clawdeen Wolf! You should go get some more! Highly highly recommended!
