John,Thank you for the interesting history you provided in your comments. Like so many others I grew up dancing to “Little Miss Dynamite “ songs ! Ms Lou
Good song and one of the hardest for most of us to say "I'm sorry" But if we hurt someone, we should push our pride aside and say it. Brenda Lee sings it in such a convincing way really.
How many artists have you seen, and listened to in their 20s', 30's or 40's who couldn't hold a candle to this 12 year old. Brenda, you go, girl! Loved you for years, and always will.
My wife and I took in her one-woman show a few years ago at a local casino where we live in Reno. I was mesmerized and my dear wife fully understood when "Little Miss Dynamite" came and sat on my lap for a picture after the show! Blessings from this retired old Pastor (73) YOU will always be young in my heart!
+Robert Tonkins I saw Brenda in concert almost ten years ago, and it was not a one-woman show (she had a small band and two back-up singers) but it was great.
MAGNIFICENT! What else can you say? It's interesting, when you read that NOONE, not even Owen Bradley, wanted Brenda to record this, although Brenda DID! At the end of a recording session, SHE was insistent that they try to record "I'm Sorry". They did a take and Bradley confessed he didn't quite know what to do with the song. They did a second take and it came together. Strings were added later. At the age of THIRTEEN, Brenda Lee recorded a magnificent, musical moment which, had it been the ONLY one she ever recorded, would have made her famous. Love it. Never tire of it.
I was in Greensboro, N C as my mom, brothers and one sister picked tomatoes as I was to young to join them. I remember seeing her on TV. I fell in love with her voice. Still am at 68.
Brenda Lee took me through my teenage heartbreaks and longings - what a voice, what a message, she was the musical empathy I needed! I collected all her singles back in the day, they still affect me now. Thank you so much for posting this John1948TwoB1b, I love it!

@@AndyArnold-uz5yo Loved ones don't leave, they guard us with caring eyes. I'm sure your beloved wife knows how your daughter has grown up and that it's thanks to your guidance along the way. Enjoy all the music you and your wife shared in your precious years - I'm sure your daughter is proud of her father and you should be proud of yourself. All good wishes to you from England.
@@jenniferkay4038 Of course I’ve gotten over that phase of my life. The wind does blow the memories towards this directions but that’s nature doing it’s job. I am a better man now, I am happy now and can be happier, I drool for new and everlasting memories. Don’t we all want something new, special and rarer??
I am blessed to have grown up when music was truly coming into it's ability to truly milestone our lives. Through radio and the grammaphone or phonograph to radio our lives were transformed into the music we grew up with. No longer by the occasional vaudeville show but by the miracle of electronics. We each have our own generational favorites. Some of us do learn to appreciate the music of our elders and understand music evolves. What was great once is still great. What is great today might not be appreciated by older generations but it weaves the tapestry of our childrens lives. I am not a big fan of rap but love the blues and that Motown sound. Bob Dylans Subterranean Homesick Blues was the earliest of the rap genre. I love it. The artists you mentioned have struggled hard to achieve their place in our culture. Like athletes who work so hard to achieve their dream. They are entitled to the rewards they gain. They entertain millions. In my humble career as a truck driver i served many but my burden was lightened by the music i listened to as i traveled many loney miles. My weekends uplifted by " my" teams performance. Yes there are many great artists who struggle hard and never achieve the fame they deserve but if they brighten the life of one person they have achieved fame

très belle chanson de jeunesse au jardin perdu d,avant😍💗💗
This song is HAUNTING in a great way. Masterpiece!
WoW! What a powerhouse voice! Love this woman.
Beautiful, an unforgettable classic! Thanks for sharing.
Loved Brenda's voice and singing she owned this song.
In addition to the mesmerizing vocal, the production of this record with strings and superb background vocals, make this a tune for the ages.
Чудесная музыка, замечательный голос. Очень хорошая песня. Спасибо за позитив. ))
I can't help but love this song and her voice . A very special lady .
Great story. Thanks!
Wow :O

Yup!!!
+Robert Tonkins I saw Brenda in concert almost ten years ago, and it was not a one-woman show (she had a small band and two back-up singers) but it was great.
+Robert Tonkins That is a wonderful recollection, Love it. God Bless.
I loved this song when I was a young girl in the 90s. Absolutely loved her voice.
Brenda Lee wonderful! Beautiful song! Thanks for posting.
We have talented singers nowadays but its something deeper with artist from this time period just authentically gifted. Her voice is perfect
This song reminds me about my wife. It was her favorite song before she lost the battling to cancer, I wish I could change the hands of time, I miss her smiles, she was always there for me and our lovely daughter, and I never miss a moment with her, life could be so unfair most times, there is some pain, I will cry in vain but won’t let you know how I will feel yes, I will miss you to the core! but some times i wonder why bad thing always happen to good people. She’s always in our hearts.
@@AndyArnold-uz5yo Music has an uncanny way of bringing people back to us... keep listening, cry your tears and one day your memories will make you smile.
@@jenniferkay4038 thank you for your kind words I wish that she could come back to see how brave of a young woman our daughter had grown up to be. I wish that my adorable daughter could have known how wonderful of a person her mother was. Death takes a huge toll on you and you mostly never get over it.
@@AndyArnold-uz5yo Loved ones don't leave, they guard us with caring eyes. I'm sure your beloved wife knows how your daughter has grown up and that it's thanks to your guidance along the way. That's just my belief, but I agree we can never completely get over deepest grief, we learn to live with it. That's what true love's all about.
She’s got an amazing powerful vocal chords ! Very unique voice
This song always brings tears to my eyes. Probably my favourite female voice in the world. Listened first when I was about 10. Still love it.
I had a huge crush on her...she was on American Bandstand a lot. The late Dick Clark knew she was a star & her songs will be in my heart forever.
There are NO singers today who can match her.
Angelina Jordan
Big No @@philmetcalf9171
There are, the current market or industry however, are not interested in pushing them, and have other agendas
@@JuniorPolancoLaCoalicion Angelina Jordan is one of those!
Agree
One of the most cherished voices that's incredibly talented that has made so many wonderful songs and thank God for her lovely gifted voice!
Hello Angela how are you doing!!
I fell in love with this little lady's voice in THOSE days. I had never even seen a picture of her. What lovely memories. Thank you, Brenda.
This young lady can truly sing
