Preparing a day box for a little time on some local water tomorrow and tossed this on. Talk about getting me jacked up :). Thanks T for taking us along. Cheers, JJ
Catching pike between bass is fun, especially when every once in a while you get one around 40”. Over 30” they fight pretty good. Sure you loose a few baits here and there.
Been busy fishing/working but I’m always hype to see a lake break video in the feed! Also cool to see you up here fishing a lake that I’m familiar with.
I really enjoyed seeing you fishing I am a true follower on both channels, your instructional videos are great and watch you actually fish is awesome. Hope to see more fishing Videos ....soon
Hey Tyler , next time you go to k**t lake hit me up we'll have a one on one out there , definitely a good lake , I hit it all the time , fun and tournaments , that lake can put out 20+ bags , definitely looking forward to see ya out there one day !
Love fishing that lake, always worth the trip out. Ive been having some luck there with glide baits on the south west rocky bank. Thank you for your informative videos man.
Hey Tyler great vid and really good refresher going to have this ready in my on deck box in 2 wks up at Sandusky. Please keep up the great vids always learning and refreshing.
Best lake break yet!a good trap bite is second only to top water as far as fun goes in my opinion. Ark better send you a bunch of those baits after this.
Looks like you had fun, and caught some fish.....all the power to you. I digress... *What exactly do you "....WISH Someone Would've told You About LIPLESS CRANKBAITS"?*
This lake is definetly great! I've fished this lake a lot. You should come check out west Michigan along the Grand River/Bayous of Grand Haven. Superb fishing!
Tyler, I know that you've discussed that you have a pretty aggressive hook set, but perhaps you can make a video discussing hook setting. Last year, I fished Silsby Lake in Manitoba for pike. As I was fishing, I'd hook a pike, and as I retrieved the fish, the guide would tell me repeatedly to "set the hook again". What is your opinion of setting the hook more than once, and hook setting in general?
I live like 30 mins from that lake love that you come up and dissect MI lakes granted if you can't catch in that place you have no business fishing lol
Good video. Thank you for sharing…..fyi I’m an old guy and I think alot of times you younger guys put to much stock in all that rod hype. Give me 6”10 to 7’2” Medium hard and I’ll fish everything in the boat with either of those rods.
@BassFishingHQ One of my favorite lakes in the area, has big ones in it and they bite all year unlike some of the other lakes around. Only got out there once last year and ended up catching a 5.2 on a jack hammer from shore. Great video, love the series keep it up!
How deep were you fishing the lipless? I'm on the exact same bite on a wisconsin lake. I'm doing it with a bladed jig and a wacky worm because I'm fishing 2-3 fow. Patchy grass is the deal
Interesting. I normally throw a lipless on a medium heavy rod that's on the light side of medium heavy. I like the extra bsckbone to keep them from getting back into the grass and burying me.
We don't have pike here but we have chain pickerel which is very close to a pike. I caught on a big devil horse one time that had it sideways in its throat. It was almost 4 ft long. Don't know how he didn't cut my line but I was sure glad it didn't. I hate those fish!
Nice video as always! What kind of knot are you tying on your line BFHQ ? I've learned so much from your channel over the years. I got to be honest I was looking at seeing that dome shaved. 😂😂😂😂😂
@@Oscar11060bro just say the lake name 😭😭 pressure didn’t start with this video and ain’t gonna end here. We all in Michigan and like to bass fish in places we know there are bass. Come on nah quit gatekeeping

Stunning catches but we really want to see you shave your hair of, Tyler...Don't worry about the wife. Forgiveness is always easier to get than permission...

One of the best bassfishing channels out there for sure, keep it up
Thanks for the support
I'm glad running into Pike and Muskie is uncommon for me on most of my lakes. That was a fun day of fishing. Thanks for taking us along
Thanks for watching

@@whoimia5208 Just use the correct gear and you wont loose any lures.
@@FishNFoolLures
I don’t loose many as it is and I refuse to use wire leaders. 10-12# test flouro works great.
Nice work, thanks.
A first, for me, at least. I don't remember ever having an ad interrupted by another ad, ~9min mark. :)
I love stop and go and bottom hopping with the Ark LP58 lipless.
Wow, I know this lake. Nice video. Love from michigan
Would you mind telling me the name? I'm moving Michigan soon and wanna find some nice kayak spots.
I like that you are showing us the google maps view and labeling the areas you are fishing.

This series is awesome! Thanks for posting

I tried the glide a little out there and was afraid of the pike lol
@BassFishingHQ Can't blame ya lol. Those 20-28 inchers are a real threat
congrats Tyler hitting 15! that’s awesome and the wife is happy too. 😂😂
Yes she will lol
That was an awesome video watching you figure the fish out. I still am learning how to find a pattern and pick up clues.
Lipless crank this time of year is THE BEST. They absolutely HAMMER it

Thank you so much for doing these series without strictly using FFS
Good video. Really showed that up-twitch of the jerk bait to get bites.
Bingo
Did you use the double San Diego Jam knot when you tied on another lipless crankbait? Just curious. 16:51
love it man did not no that that bait was such good in grass!
Awesome job man!!😎🚤🎣
Great video and great fishing

Awesome video! Love these! Live a lipless bite myself. Caught my first 6lber on a bill Lewis.
What a fun day of playing pike or bass
Dang pike!
Looks like you had fun, and caught some fish.....all the power to you. I digress... *What exactly do you "....WISH Someone Would've told You About LIPLESS CRANKBAITS"?*
I wish someone would have told me to throw it sooner
Nice fish👍
Good day. I always slide my hand down the line and grab the lure
But what if he was fishing a one knocker or a chatter bait or a spinner bait
Good to see you catching those " nice" fish! Looked like fun......
Best series
Thank you

Love the ark lipless! Caught a 4.95 on the same lure in February on clarks hill🎣

I did a video over on my other channel about this @tylerbergerfishing
I must have about 3 dozen lipless crankbaits, but I struggle with them bigly to they mostly stay in my tackle box looking pretty.
I rarely break them out as well. This day was perfect for them though
Omg shaving you head is the most embarrassing consequence ever😂😂😂

@@wackygoogoo360_2Where is this lake? I'm moving to Michigan soon and would love to check it out.
I got that same color ark lipless from my monsterbass 2 yrs ago and its my favorite color for nj
Its a great color!
Love the tips you give out. Ive been watching your stuff for several yrs now and have def gotten better at bass fishing 🙌
How deep were you fishing the lipless? I'm on the exact same bite on a wisconsin lake. I'm doing it with a bladed jig and a wacky worm because I'm fishing 2-3 fow. Patchy grass is the deal
Mostly 5-6ft of water
Next time you come up lake Saint Clair metropark is a phenomenal spot

One of my home lakes. never expected to see anyone with 200k subs fishing it lol.
It is a very cool lake..I really enjoyed it!

Nice like the lake break
Ty, the first fish you caught, how deep was that log sitting on the bottom and how deep was your lure when the fish hit it?
Long was in about 12ft…bait was down about 6 ft
HAMMER TIME" WAY2GO!
What was that interesting looking knot you were using?
I’ve been looking into into a baitcasters. What is a good first one under 100 bucks that you recommend
What rod did you use for the lipless crank
Still tying the Pitzen knot, eh? 😉
Another great video Tyler. Being from Ohio, have you ever fished Patoka in Indiana? Grew up on that lake.
What’s a good 30lb braid? Thanks
Nice video as always! What kind of knot are you tying on your line BFHQ ? I've learned so much from your channel over the years. I got to be honest I was looking at seeing that dome shaved. 😂😂😂😂😂
I tie a double pitzen a lot still. It’s so easy and relatively strong. Double San Diego Jam knot is definitely best for fluoro though
@@BassFishingHQ you ever do a video on tying that knot that looks pretty elaborate appreciate all your information.
What knot are you using?
Lake break!!!!
Hey Tyler, what happened to sportsman’s outfitters, they changed their website and now I can’t find anything?
Love that iKon she’s a beaut
She really is!
Awesome job as always Ty... And I'm really glad you didn't have to shave your head cuz then you'd look even goofier😂😂😂❤❤❤
lol true!
If I had to go somewhere to catch a trophy smallmouth, pike and largemouth in one lake, this is the place to do it
Curious, what scale do you use?
Looks like the rapala scale
What lake? I'm in michigan
It’s not too hard to find. He shows it on the map in the first part of the video. I don’t want to say anything because it’s already really pressured

Usually I pick them but that’s not a bad idea. I’ll do that for the next one!
which lips where you using?
Caught a 7.74lbs Walleye the other day on a Rattletrap. Don't these fish know we're bass fishing?!😅
That was cool watching the fish eat your lure on livescope
I be3n wanting to get on here lol... yous lucky
Hey, Tyler! Stay out of Michigan! Just kidding. I'd like to know what lake this is that you are fishing.
It was a fun lake. I decided to not give lake names out anymore….but if you look hard enough you can find it
Who cares if a guy that always wears a hat shaves his head? Next time, put the beard on the line. 😂
Now that’s crossing the line
Haha the beard can’t go 😂
Make it more interesting, the eyebrow 😂😂👌
Stunning comment😂
Stunning catches but we really want to see you shave your hair of, Tyler...Don't worry about the wife. Forgiveness is always easier to get than permission...
i would of stayed amd fun too
I'd rather catch Pike any day as they fight harder and are more of a challenge to catch than bass.
And better tasting 😂
Bass are easier to catch but not easier to figure out. Pike will hit anything anytime which I love them for that.
Can I ask why you don't wear a ring if you have a wife?
I usually take it off when I fish. I don’t know I’ve always been scared to lose it. I am not great at wearing it anyways though
@@BassFishingHQ I get it I ended up going with one of the silicone rings because of this same exact idea
it would have been exciting to see you get your head shaved, by your wife.
