The interviewer made a bit of a mistake about the Back in Black album at the start. It's actually the 2nd biggest selling album of all time. 45 million copies sold so far :D
Ya know, I wonder if it's them taking a breather like Brian says...or the record company not liking what they hear and wanting stronger material. SUL had a couple good songs on it but overall pretty weak. And I've been a fan since 78 or 79 when i was a kid. Also look at the last 15 years. 1990 razors edge...then 5 years ...1995 Ballbreaker....5 years...2000 SUL...nothing in 2005. But as Brian said, they needed a break.

Well I think from traveling so much, he picked up accents from all over, and kind of blended them, which is pretty much what America is all about!
