- These neodymium magnets have 1200 total lbs combined pull force and are freaking scary! Can an iPhone X display survive these two titan clashing together? I couldn't wait to find out and had to test it out! We also captured it all in epic slow motion at 18500 frames per second. Check it out! But don't do this at home! These magnets are scary!

@Dank Memes Yeah, you're right, I didn't have enough data, just saw a video of someone testing to wipe an hdd with pretty big magnets and thought that no magnets could still corrupt one, and i got proven wrong with a bit more searching, a magnet as strong as this one should do the job

Pull forces aren't additive like that. If they have 600 lb of force, it would only take 600 lb of force to pull them apart, not 1200 lb.
You also didn't even use the strongest sides of the magnet! The ends aren't as strong. The little red dots designate the poles, where the magnet is strongest.
I was looking for this comment. 👍 You can only add forces like that if they act on the same object (or part of an object) and in the same direction. A lot of people get this wrong.

In order to handle neodymium magnets you need to have training with others before you handle neodymium they are incredibly dangerous any mistake with them will end in horrible injuries the blood blister he got was nothing compared to what you can search now please! Be careful with these they are not a joke farewell and good luck

I have one of these and definitely the magnetic field is strongest on two of the larger sides. The way they joined is when you have the strongest pull force.
