Oh yeah to get the full 4k resolution you will need a 4k TV very good game I have been playing it I have been wanting to play it for some years on pc never got the chance until I got the Xbox series X I hear the is a big difference between the Xbox series S and Xbox series X apparently the Xbox series X is the best console out of the 2 keep up the good work buddy
Thanks for the video. So far, the menu system is very non-intuitive with very little to no guidance. In some places you have a selection of button options and then on the same screen more functions completely separated and not placed within an overall command set which is entirely unexpected and difficult to catch unless you really look at everything. Absolutely infuriating at times and cumbersome. It feels like it was thrown together to make a quick buck and I can't find a reason to think that was not the case considering the apparent lack of effort. Missing button icon definitions and hastily thrown together menus.
Thanks for watching! The radial menus are wonky at the best of times, like not taking button presses and just closing. What annoys me the most though is the ship overlay every time you select any ship. It just so incredibly large, blocks out a third of the screen yet the information presented in it strangely is still kinda small, with large empty spaces and you can't close it either without deselecting.. urgh. Admittedly I do still enjoy the game, mainly because its Anno 1800, but there is no real reason to play this over the pc version unless you have to, especially if they stick to their plan to not release any content dlcs on console.
The devs have stated a couple of times that console is sadly not getting any of the dlc besides the cosmetics. A shame, really :< but understandable from a performance/hardware standpoint. With skyscrapers and Trewlawny it would likely escalate too much.
If you enjoy the Anno series as a whole, or have enjoyed any of the previous titles, Anno 1800 is a terrific entry into the series and I can wholeheartedly recommend it. Of the games I played its my personal favorite. The biggest question, however, is whether you want the PC or console version, as console is only getting the cosmetic dlc's, a stance which Ubisoft has recently (end of May) been doubling down on, mainly due to hardware limitations of the consoles. I have invested about 120 hours into this save file at this point, so I would argue I got my money's worth out of it, and I do plan on continuing still. ^^ Still, it should be mentioned that there are 4 season passes on PC, with a whole heap of additional content. New regions, large buildings that add bonuses and functionalities as well as entirely new types of inhabitants. So the PC version is a lot more complex and does differ largely from what is included in the base-game-only Console Edition.
Best Anno 1800 I have ever played. And I think now its on sale mate. You cant go wrong. If your situation improved definetly not a waste of money if you put your money in. You can spent 1000 of hours in there :)
Its a very different game altogether in my opinion. Anno has most of its focus / (depending on how you play it) all of it, on managing supply and demand for resources for your various different islands. I honestly don't know enough about Tropico to sensibly compare it, but Anno is mostly a supply chain manager.
Video is very good for sleeping 😴

Will there be downloadable content such as Africa and the Frozen Pole in ANO 1800 on PlayStation 5?

@@Amathul reading this broke my heart
How do you trade on this (PS5). I tried to trade wood but I get an error triangle.
Is it worth the buy, I’ve watched this game for years. Just worried about wasting money

@@Amathul is the new world in the console edition ?
Yes, the New World is in the console edition as it is part of the base game. But it did not get the extension Season Pass 4 included.
Any deal-breakers? PS5.
