- Today, we're looking at the Liberals continuing to blame Stephen Harper's government, which hasn't been in power for nine years, for their own failures.
Plus, former Calgary mayor Naheed Nenshi is the new leader of Alberta's NDP, which usually causes a spike in support for any party... except in this case.
And finally, the World Health Organization has declared monkeypox, or "mpox," as a global health emergency. Could we be looking at another pandemic or is this just more scaremongering?

They blame Harper, but after 9 years, they havemt done anything but wreck this once thriving, beautiful country.
I wonder if PM Poilievre (ooops, I’m a bit early on that one, LOL) and his government will blame 10 years of Liberal rule when people start bitching about the current government’s shortcomings in not meeting expectations in a timely manner?
@@kennethmelnychuk9737 The libs were left a balanced budget and a relatively smooth running country and look what happened, truduuuuuh has flushed Canada down the toilet,the liberals screw up everything they touch and the government is run like a corrupt criminal enterprise with scandal after scandal and taxpayer money being pilfered by liberal insiders and they refuse to be accountable If Pierre blamed them he,d be right.
The one thing that Mr. Nenshi understands is that the provincial NDP is governed by its federal counter-part and that Albertans who understand this are not into that. This should actually become more common knowledge to the general population.
I do hope that Premier Smith keeps in mind that since Edmonton voted entirely for the Dippers and since Nenshi won their leadership race AND he has name recognition in Cowtown, there is the possibility that he could be the next premier.
I appreciate how she is trying to better our province and I hope that in the next provincial election, the UPC wins more seats.
But nobody is stopping flights from Africa.

There were a couple of them that were elected here.
My youngest daughter has a few liberals in her entourage of friends. I give young people a pass but have zero ability to comprehend a seasoned adult Albertan who supports the left today.

Agreed, the Dippers could be thinking strategically about utilizing Nenshi’s name recognition in Calgary to win the next provincial election.
Smith won Calgary by buying them a new arena, sadly the difference in seats the UPC won over the NDP in the last election was not that great.

Perhaps you could do some type of pre-read screening to ensure these ads can apply to we Canadians?
Language matters when establishing culture. I find it odd that Minister Miller "Ordered" his deputy minister to investigate. A true leader would sit down with their hand picked colleague and map out a collaborative approach to the investigation.
