- A very busy few days.
First off, appointment day which actually went well. My walk got extended by 5 minutes and that also means needing to use the wheelchair abit less. Baby steps (literally!).
Then a very exciting day with dad (or evening should I say!). I got him tickets to see his favourite show and we had such a lovely evening out.
This video is a little behind (just by two weeks I think 🤔) , which I’ll explain why I’m the next couple of videos I’m still editing. A lot has been happening. A lot a lot.

Wow fantastic!!! Glad you enjoyed the show and outing with your dad. I was close very close to my parents. Unfortunately they have since passed on. My mom in October 2018 and my dad in March this year. It has been a tough few years as my dad suffered from Dementia/Alzheimer's the last part of his life. So happy you adore your parents and are close to them ♥️♥️ cherish what time you have with them 🤗

Was that a packaged croissant? It looked unlike a normal croissant. Fresh ones have better lamination and an airier, flakier texture. Guessing more of a challenge as no nutrition information on them but hopefully soon 🙏
Do you think you could get ear muffs or ear defenders from amazon to help with the noises?

Hi Fi, great to see you having had such a lovely day with your Dad. I am a new subscriber and also have anorexia. I'm a very old version though! I'm 39. One thing I am finding really frustrating about your videos is that you always tend to say something like, 'I had a really hard morning,' but then usually don't say what was actually hard, and that you just bounce straight back to showing your next meal/snack as if that is the only thing that matters to recovery from an ED. I find it frustrating because it leaves me asking, 'What's wrong?' all the time. What was it that triggered you or upset you, for example. xx
I always wonder the same thing! I think Fi doesn't want to trigger anyone, but I actually think it can be helpful to know what the hard thing is ...at least then maybe I won't feel so crazy in my own struggles lol!

It’s so hard being older and having an ED. It’s great to see younger people sharing their recovery journeys as hopefully it can help motivate and inspire others so they don’t end up still struggling in later life. My body definitely doesn’t cope with it all the way it did in my 20s.
Any tips for the anxiety around appointment days??
I find writing things down for appointments really helpful. It means I don't worry about forgetting things I want to bring up, and sometimes I send over the list to my nurse so if it's something I'm nervous about bringing up then he will already know. I hope this helps lovely xxx
