I live in Pennsylvania in the Philadelphia area and got my EZ-Pass from the PA Turnpike Commission in twenty-oh-one. In early twenty-oh-two, I started a new job in New Jersey, near Trenton. I crossed the Delaware River (state border) to and from work on the Scudder Falls Bridge on what was then called I-95, now I-295. It was a free bridge then.
I retired in twenty seventeen. Not long after that, a new Scudder Falls Bridge replaced the old one. It is a toll bridge, although tolls are only collected one way, going into PA. There is a discount from the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission after a certain number of trips each month. If I were still working, I may have switched to their EZ-Pass.
In the Philadelphia-Wilmington area, 5 different agencies run the Delaware River crossings. I originally wrote 4, but I forgot about the PA Turnpike's own bridge that links to the NJ Turnpike!

New York offers an instate discount for the Thruway, but you have to pay a monthly fee to the Port Authority NY/NJ. Massachusetts doesn't charge at all for EZPass. All depends on where you get your transponder from.

I have a Florida sunpass ( ez pass ) lot cheaper then the EZ pass I had in jersey and Indiana .. I've had zero issues with Florida sun pass in the three years I've used them compared to when I was using jersey ez pass
Plus Florida ez pass is accepted on all toll roads here on east coast
