- The Isle of Wight Chapter of the NAACP discusses the traffic stop of Army Lieutenant Caron Nazario. Officers pepper-sprayed him during the stop. Nazario filed a federal lawsuit related to the stop which took place in December 2020.

The chief even said the officers did nothing procedurally wrong. He said they only thing they wrong was that they did not deescalate "verbally". That's what the chief said.

The years 2020 and 2021 have proven the people who need police protection more than anyone in this country are children. In 2021, over 265 murdered in Chi-town alone. Almost daily one reads where a child less than 14 years old was murdered. Except for parents, No large scale viewers are angry, mad, upset or demanding justice. The Army will put out a directive that all military members to avoid Windsor. I've seen it too many times before. Eventually Va will re-route 460 around Windsor. Can't happen soon enough.

Windsor, Va officers where on vehicle property tax collection enforcement hunt that night . They think when you display temporary tag or out state plate they pull you over to collect data on driver & vehicle.Also Waterbury, Ct is planning to use local police for traffic stops of out state plates & paper tags. The hearing is to take place August 19, 2021 to vote and passed for police to start enforcing the task on October 2021. TY

Some of these comments are the most ignorant I've seen in years! If the police officers was following procedures and protocols..Why were they fired? No traffic stop requires a police officer to unholster his weapon and approach a vehicle..That vehicle could have children, a sick person, pregnant woman all in peril if his weapon discharge.. Traffic stops have become death traps for black men! And any black person would have driven to a well lit area..In most states, cities and counties black citizens are targeted by police that discriminately stop them for frivolous and often no offenses which escalates into police abuse of power, deaths, injuries and lawsuits..These videos showing up in huge numbers is not new it's being recorded now and uploaded..Police brutality is not new to black folks..Now the police are being sued as folks are exercising their rights..Anyone looking at that video and concludes the soldier was in the wrong hopefully you're put in his position in the near future..It would be hilarious if you were suddenly black!

@@seanfeeley5985 yes I saw the video and the police department put it out and all it shows is that the police knew that he had a sticker in his back window and that he already come across them before they knew who he was is all that proves and since that video had his information of where he lived on it they'll be able to throw that in the lawsuit as well so either way the lieutenant wins

You most not have watched the entire video. He was fallow the keep your hands out the window instruction. He also asked what was going on several times which they are supposed to tell him why they stopped him but they refused to answer and the reason for the stop to being with was answered when he pulled into the gas station.

Complying wasn’t the problem. The problem is cops pulled guns out first for a traffic stop, yelling, screaming and failing to vocally state why he’s being pulled over with loaded guns pointing at him. His hands were out yet the cops yelled to keep hands out but also get out of the car at the same time, putting him in a position that could get him shot. If he reached for that seat belt they could have shot him saying he was trying to pull a gun out since he did have a gun attached to his serving uniform. He followed the basic law of having his hands out/open for police to see and having the law to stay in his car especially when you haven’t been issued a reason for why you’re being pulled over, yet they just yelled at the top of their lungs threatening him and continuously spraying him in the face and expected him to still get out of the car when he couldn’t see or breathe and put his service dog in danger as well. They illegally unlocked/opened his car door, dragged him out, kneeling him, pushing him on the ground and still threatening him with guns and statements of possibly using a taser on him too. When the lieutenant said he was scared cause his life is being threatened unfairly, the cops said “you should be”. This was never about a traffic stop. This was intended ill intentions.
