    The excitement of the 2024 RS Fest swept over the waters of the stunning Biscayne Bay in Miami, from March 29th to April 1st with sunshine, blue skies, hot air, warm water and a gentle sea breeze of 8 to 15 knots and surfable waves. Over 40 boats competed fiercely, with athletes from across the globe showcasing their skills. 34 RS Aeros representing 7 counties raced alongside fleets of RS21s, RS Fevas and RS Teras.
    The event was marked by a fun and family-style atmosphere, adding to the camaraderie and excitement of the regatta. Everyone is excited for future RS Fests to come in Miami! Thanks to all the sponsors and to Coconut Grove Sailing Club for hosting an excellent regatta!     Results:
    RS Aero 7s
    Day 1 brought glorious racing on Biscayne Bay with a fairly unstable puffy shifty breeze. There were four different race winners with Upamanyu Dutta IND, Noah Rees GBR, Marc Jacobi USA and Peter Barton GBR taking a race each.
    Day 2 belonged to Upamanyu Dutta IND tasking all four race wins.
    Day 3 was Noah Rees GBR's taking all 3 wins.
    Upmanyu Dutta from India secured victory, trailed by Noah Rees 2nd and Peter Barton 3rd, both from the UK.
    RS Aero 6s
    Noel Butler IRL triumphed in the RS Aero 6s making a comeback on the final day to beat Hank Saurage USA on a tie break.
    RS Aero 5s
    Nathalie Jacobs COL won the RS Aero 5s

    Great video Justin! Agree the Aero is a really fun boat. I bought one a few months ago and have been really enjoying learning to sail it. It's both fast and so responsive to changes in conditions. Very easy to tell when you make a change and you go faster (or slower lol)!

    Really good video. I'm a Laser sailor from Annapolis. I'd love to add the RS to our fleet here, but I don't see any way it could replace the Laser. It would probably have to be one or the other.

      You have to try it and you will want both.
