I just came to this video, no matter how many views or likes, to make a claim. I'm related to this man, and the Stewarts. On my Mom's side, she is relate to the Stewarts, and the Tuatha de Danan. The Tuatha de Danan are an ancient Irish clan/family that very likely had to do with magic and sorcery, as from thousands of proof and documents that I have(surprisingly). Just thought I'd share that! But seriously, thank you much for sharing this information, as I long to decipher the history of my ancestors. :)
I thought I knew almost everything on this subject but I didn't know that David the first was his grandfather. Fun fact David the first is thought to have started my high school.
I don´t think that his legacy was tarnished by Hollywood. Braveheart wasn´t a documentary. It was a movie inspired by the life of William Wallace. The script is based on the Blind Harry´s poem The Wallace. Thousands inaccuracies, omissions, fabrications but the Bruce story was actually very close to the truth. Or what we consider to be the truth.

Just as a side note the name Braveheart was given to Robert the Bruce not William Walace as the film would have you believe.
