That sequence from 2017 where he's belting "better than he can" is painful. The strain in his voice is very audible and it feels like I can hear him damaging his voice in real time.
Honestly to me the biggest thing is the development of his falsetto & head voice from 2018 onwards. Seems like there might be another jump around 2020 with his overall technique improving?

Yes the improvement he had in 2018 was massive he got rid of his voice where it sounded like he was singing through his nose and sounds a lot more clear now. Him learning falsetto did him wonders you can hear it in his last 2 albums
