Excellent as usual. I believe Kate Wolf wrote this song about Wavy Gravy (Hugh Romney) who is 88 and still alive. He was an entertainer and peace activist best known for his role at Woodstock.
@@Fairy-door-78-86 Also listened to your original songs & subscribed. I always try to guess what brand guitar is being played but my ears are getting old and I will be wrong. My guess is that you are playing one of the smaller Martins .
@@cailltelorgaireuaighean7399 Thank you ! I have 2 Taylor guitars an academy grand and and a mini Koa . I often tune to open D or another open used by Kate Rusby I am not sure what it's called though :) I might buy a Martin for Christmas.
@@Fairy-door-78-86 Lovely guitars. If you are ever in Australia, I wish you could try my Martin Buddy Guy jumbo with its turquoise polka dots & the D35 rosewood back & sides. In my mid 70s now so the voice is gone & the guitars gather dust due to arthritis. Deleted most of my RUclips videos but here is one I recorded during Covid lockdown on my Buaile Bawns channel. I am sure you could sing this beautifully . ruclips.net/video/JRdQnAtM45Y/видео.html

@@hendrikustenwolde8715 Thank you very much I appreciate your support. Great you found the lyrics. I just did a cover of "Old Jerome" I feel a very emotional connection to Kate's songs.
Excellent as usual.
