Im not a football savant but even this armchair QB knows the talent level between Rattler and ANY QB to come through Willy B is not the same. Connor Shaw was the grittiest toughest winner to ever play for us. The dude only lost a handful of games as the starter and never lost at Willy B i think. But those 11 win teams were far better around the QB position everywhere on the field. Spencers talent at the position far exceeds connor shaw.

So many many haters posting asanine comments. Get behind this program or go elsewhere. Temper your expectations with reality. Some people think that Sellers is gonna be a panacea to this program. I definitely think he can help. There are guys like Doty, Reno, and other qbs. We are not getting an upgrade at this position when Rattler leaves. The coaches know that we are going to have to be more balanced on offense. The biggest loss for this years team was Jordan Burch transferring. Rattler departing will be an adjustment.
@timkinley1779 he was given very little time to throw on most plays, he did a helluva job with the surrounding personell. Over 3k yards passing is incredible in his situation.
@@docmccartha4073 Carolina played two teams with a decent pass rush. Don't confuse you being a fan of the team, with him being an NFL QB. You're elevating him based off of your loyalty. How many NFL QB jobs are there? And how many QBs get drafted each year? An NFL team isn't going to draft him if he isn't better than what they have. And being mediocre is what he has done. Might be decent when comparing him to other Carolina QBs, but that isn't saying much.

Then he got suspended in the middle of the season(for some mysterious reason that they never discussed). His character started to show after that situation. Then there was the whole Oklahoma time period. He was sooooo hyped at Oklahoma that he was on the early H-man watch. Then he fizzled. Talk about crash and burn!!!!!!!🤦🏾
You can also make the argument that if he was on a better team this year, he would be contending for the heisman right now and probably a top 3 qb pick in the draft. Can’t blame a guy to not get the job done correctly without the proper tools🤷🏻♂️
