Greetings from the 🇬🇧- here gas (we call it petrol) is the equivalent of about $8 a gallon - yes expensive, to fill my previous car, a Mercedes C200 station wagon was about $90. This makes an EV even more economic sense. I went for a BMW i3, in Europe the i3 is about $10,000 cheaper than a M3. No plans to go back to a combustion car.
Thanks for this "objective" review & the detailed cost analysis after 50K miles. Ca registration & tire replacement around 20K to 25K miles should be the most of the expenses, barring any other expenses. As you stated, out of warranty Tesla repairs can be very costly.
Almost at 10,000 miles since September when I got my car. I have had no issues. Wish it had a heated steering wheel but that’s it really. The auto wipers hopefully will be improved more as well. But the super low cost to run, super low maintenance, great technology, software updates, etc. Awesome vehicle. Wish the window tint was legal here in NY. Our registration though is every two years and is like $80 though
I want to buy a Model 3 but I was unsure about the white seats because easy staining was my main concern with them. So I will just save my money and go with the black seats. Thanks for the warning.
What mattress do you use to sleep in the whip Taylor? I just bought Tesmat-- it's cool, particularly for the ability to store in subtrunk, but with comfort still to be desired. What's your take?
Ordered my M3P!! There is a Tesla charger at my work! Luckily it’s not frequently used..the charging rate is 13kwh is that really slow!? I work the five days a week ! Well at my full time job… have another side gig… planning on just charging at work daily! 😭🥳
Have you priced damage/repair costs on ICE cars lately? I had front end damage on a Mazda 3 that cost $14K to repair. It may be a little less if it's a mass mass market car, with lots of generic parts available. But if you compare it to say an Lexus or BMW, I expect the tesla is less then those.
i ordered a model Y and I'm just slowly buying accessories for it. What do you recommend for sentry mode storage or what did you use and where can you buy it
Congrats! I made a video that talk about some of the storage options. There’s also a few links in the description ruclips.net/video/uvDReJHKjXk/видео.html
A car with this price range should not have quality issues like the one you addressed and which is why my M3 maybe my last Tesla unless Tesla really step up their game. I too had issues with my 2023 RWD Model 3 - unacceptable. People should stop putting up with the crap so Tesla can really take accountability for it and improve it. My Honda is 8 years old and nothing has fallen out - everything is intact and its been rough used a lot.
4:30 EV's are actually about ~400% (4x) efficient over ICE's. Simple math. ~25mpg car vs ~100mpge EV. Tesla rates their mpge at ~120-140, but we will be generous, and assume you do a lot of freeway driving, and have a heavy foot.
Thank you for the great info. For my explanation in the video, I was just comparing the energy used to refine and pump gas vs the energy used to plug in. The actual driving info here is much-needed thanks!!
With environmental impact of producing the battery which is HUGE and the conventional power production used to make electricity the environmental impact of electric cars is worse then a conventional 4 cylinder car. Not as bad as a diesel of course. I own two bolts but just trying to be real.
@@shanewilfon6860 HUGE = 2x the carbon over ICE production? You'd overlook the inevitable end of oil spills, drilling, fracking, ground water contamination, air pollution, and more just because the transition to renewable isn't fully over the hump yet? We're all paying a cost right now to fix a legacy of of airborne carcinogens. We ran leaded fuel for 70+ years even though they knew ethanol was a solution in the early 1900's. It takes over 1kWh to produce 1gal of gas just at the refinery, just think about how much energy it takes from drilling, to refining, and transit to the station, just to get 1gal of gas in a car, only to waste 66% of the energy as heat. I know the math is complex and confusing to include all the variables in the oil/electric debate, but rest assured you're doing the environment a favor by owning two Bolts.
your referral code seems to only work for solar roof and solar panels.. Does not give supercharging on purchasing a car. Also what wheels and suspension are you running? Thank you.
How long does it take to charge at a charging station? and what happens if you can't find one in time and run out of juice? Is that an advantage or disadvantage when comparing it to gasoline vehicles?
Your Model 3 is the most beautiful model 3 I've seen so far. Congratulation from Germany :-)

Highly informative video for potential Tesla buyers. Covers a lot in a short amount of time so two thumbs up from me 👍👍

this car weighs a lot more than a regular cars so more friction on the tires makes them wear down faster, especially if you drive it the fun way lol
