Absolutely superb!! Sonny, you put on a top-notch show my friend! Now, since this is all brand-new to my eyes, I'm want to share four thoughts. My $0.02 worth. Please take it for what it's worth, only 2 cents. 1) Upper section of the track (single lane, loop, first 180). It happened very fast. I know why it has to be fast. I was ready for the second heat, but still didn't see the cars make it, or not make it, thru the corkscrew until the replay. I can only imagine how difficult it is to balance the lighting and camera angles to optimize the viewers experience. Again, just giving you my reaction to it all. 2) Lower section of the track. WOW! The highlight for me. Love the undulations, drops, and turns. It is edge-of-your-seat for sure. I noticed that Funkhouser's track has tall barriers in certain sections. If you find you want to add barriers to keep cars on the track, that is an option. 3) Grandstand and finish. DOUBLE-WOW!! So much detail! Love your intro and outro (songwriting terms) in the video. The close up shots are such eye-candy. I'm learning from you. 4) Length of video. I want more!!!!!! Even if it's 4 races could you please stretch it to > 6 minutes? I'm starving for more! HAHA! Great work Sonny. Again, this is just my $0.02 as a viewer. I love the new track. Press on!!!

I’m picking victor bones. I used the same model for one of my submissions to KOTM, so I’m looking for some validation. I am really curious to see how Tammy Slice does with those big wheels and fast acceleration due to her lighter weight.
Race 1: great action and Slice feel very competitive. Safe run for Bones coming in third. Nervous that Bones won’t have the top speed needed to compete with Slice.
Race 2: Slice is out! Wonder if the heavier weight will be better on the loop. Bones issues with handling really causes an issue with reaching top speed. Took care of business, but I’m nervous in the next two races about him being able to hold his position.
Race 3: Speedman was awesome. Bones holds position, likely to advance if he holds position in race 4. I do wonder if the Lancia’s width is causing issues slowing him down in the dual lane.
Race 4: Yes!!!! Great race for Bones!!!! Maybe his best run of the evening.
So nice to have The Skyway back!!!! Thank you!!!
Love this commentary! So so great to be back. I know we talk separately but I never want to short change you when I tell you what a joy it is to receive comments like these. Victor bones was the right horse to back for sure. Love that casting so so much! Can't wait to see your take on the Lancia over there at KOTM! What a great casting to submit!! Bones was particularly squirrelly this race. Cuz I know that car to be a fast straight shooter. Must've been all that defense. Its got good wide stance and good weight. I bet yours does very well. is that John Alexander driving over there at 3D?
i say cars flying off is part of the SKYWAY, no net, no Jersey walls to keep cars contained.
As for loops, we all saw the commercials in the 70s. Had the 57 Chevy loop. In person ok, doing a loop in person would be incredible.
It adds like a dash of salt here, otherwise it’s a blink.

The track is going to give a lot of unforgettable moments, there is still a lot to see on it. Lots of cars over the barriers, but that's what it's all about, right? this is rally!! Also, almost everyone is back on track.
After watching the entire video the first time, I had to rewatch the parts of the race before the fat track and at half speed of the video to better see what happened. 😄😄
This is by no means a "complaint", just in case it helps: in that first part, maybe a little light is missing for me. And because the winner can get so far ahead of the others, we don't get to see some of the action from the cars that come after him. Can you handle a camera with the other hand when recording the races? 🤣🤣🤣

I LOVE that the track is getting longer, but it's kinda short because just one round. I hope maybe next time you could add more cars instead 4 cars one video, into 8 cars one video. 2 rounds, so you could make the video a bit longer. Other than that, everything looks cool! Can't wait for the next race

This is good work and epic track but I don’t know if everyone can appreciate the ingenuity, is it possible to slow it down to better follow the race. I slowed the playback down to .75 and could follow all the drama on the track.
Thanks so much for watching, and thanks for your thoughts. The playback rate is definitely something that was highly considered. Half speed feels right to our eyes. Preserves some of the excitement, and with calculations translating to scale, the cars are moving at somewhat of a realistic speed. Replays for sure hope to offer more of the story with slower playback. Thank you again!

Do cars with real rider wheels do well on the track?
Hey Naushriell! Thanks for watching. Unfortunately, the reel rider wheels do not do well on this track. Too much friction. I've done wheel swaps on these premium castings using FTE (faster than ever) wheels. Its a line of Hot Wheels with Nickel plated axels. Thanks again!
