- Black eyed Children of Cannock Chase. On this special episode of Haunted Finders, we go in search of The infamous Black Eyed Children that are said to plague the Cannock Chase woods and have terrified locals.
What will we uncover when just two of us spend the entire night in this terrifying and extremely haunted location.
Cannock is one of the largest paranormal hotspots in the UK and has had reports of paranormal happenings for decades. From demonic child ghosts, Slender man, Werewolves, UFO's you name it it has been sighted here. We spent an entire night in this extremely terrifying dense haunted forest to try and come into contact with any of these entities. Watch the full episode this Friday to find out what happened!
What is a black eyed child?
Black-Eyed Children (or Black-Eyed Kids) is an urban legend of supposed paranormal creatures that resemble children between the ages of 6 and 16, with pale white skin and black eyes, who are reportedly seen hitch hiking or pan handling, or are encountered on doorsteps of residential homes. Tales of black-eyed children have appeared in pop culture since the late 1990s.

The humming was the sound of a distant train horn as there is a rail line that goes through Cannock Chase
Really shocked when you guys said you heard a woman screaming. We were parked up there last October one evening when we too heard a woman screaming several times. It really sounded like someone was in trouble. However, lots of other people were parked up in the area and no one else seemed to hear the screaming.

I live in Heath Hayes near Cannock chase so this is extremely scary for me but it's interesting
i went last night with my cousin im nearly 16 he's nearly 13 we did it on our own and i saw a UFO and heard wolves and strange laughs in the distance and we checked out the german cemetery.
I live literally on the edge of Cannock Chase, there are a handfull of areas I won't go near in the daytime let alone at night!!! Good work guys, keep it up!

At 15:00 the "unexplained" noise is a train horn in the distance.
I've lived around here for almost 30 years. I've run D of E expeditions and practices for years, as well as ridden the Blue, Green, Red and Black routes on bike.. I've done night hikes, from Kattyn, The Punch Bowl, Marquis Drive, Springslade, Milford, right down to the Heart of England Way and Glacial Boulder... and I've NEVER seen anything.
And I'm not discounting spirit, because I have seen things at other locations that I wouldn't want to see again, Shropshire would be worth a look..
The chase is haunted, I have no doubts, but the 30 minutes you've got here on video is fruitless! You will hear noises because there's absolutely tons of wildlife, hares, rabbits, badgers, deer, snakes, bats, foxes, owls, pheasants and more and the amount of deer and rabbit at night over there is awe inspiring.
If you want a chance of capturing anything then walk from Castle Ring, down to Trout Lodge/Horsepasture pools... up to the road and across.. back down to the train line at Kitbag Hill.. walk back up to the visitors centre at Marquis Drive.. around a 6/7 mile walk, not a car in sight for 90% of the walk.
The guy who INVENTED slenderman made a fantastic mockumentary about it. Check it out. It had me going for quite a while. Absolutely one you don't want to miss.

Me and my bro go to the chase quite often to look for paranormal goings on since 2014 but mostly UFO's walking quite deep in the chase away from the big tracks, sometimes if you see a light , go walk near it, it may be a torch from someone as crazy as me walking there.Seen a few ufo including a silent triangular craft.Got freaked out once when I heard a loud pig squeal one night which went on for 20mins, pretty sure cannock does not have wild boar.
Try castle ring at cannock guys or near the German war cemetery next time you there with the box.
No it doesn't have wild boar but there is the legend of the pig man!

You seem to have more success than most haunted but one criticism. When you are listening out for faint noises, so are we. It would be far better if we hear what you hear without the spooky incidental music.
From a new fan here in Ontario, Canada I think you guys did and epic job especially from the looks and sounds of things it seemed cold as well. If I can throw my 2 cents in please, Being a professional musician and sound man as my livelihood entails can I suggest you get a proper wind screen for your microphones. Your picking up soooo much wind noise that it's really hard to hear what's being captured live by your ears, only get the foam ones as a last resort, you really want to get the kind a pro soundman uses live in the field, Jeremy Clarkson refers to it as a dog on a stick...lol, good brand is Windcut, Hope that helps and on that bomb shell......

At about 16 mins and a little further in there seems to be a red/orange light right by toms head I haven't read anyone's comments yet but hopefully you have all seen it too plz correct me on this if possible, as they showed us in the beginning while explaining the strange sounds and sightings from others who have spoken of there reports of this place during the day light it didn't seem to be a road close by but I've also never been anywhere close to this place I'm from Louisiana but I just wanted to say BIG FAN HERE TOM PLZ NEVER STOP WHAT YOU DO, EVER! I'm over 60 and have the area all my life (so far). I have spent hours there by day and all night. I never saw or heard a thing I couldn't rationalize!
This 'movie' is like 'Most Haunted' on TV..you wait for ages and suddenly...NOTHING HAPPENS! For two tough looking guys they sure scare easy...trust me guys, squirrels and deer are more afraid of YOU!!

At 13.53 during the full spectrum camera section I can quickly see the outline of a small figure before the camera starts moving again. You then point your torch almost directly to where I saw it and said you heard movement.
At 25:28 just after Jon asked Why its hiding in the woods the spirit box gives a noise just at that time there is a flash of light right behind Jon's head at his right side ear in between u guys!

hi guys I lived in burntwood and use to camp all over Cannock chase when I was young . you need to investigate castle ring at the devils drop not a lot of people know about it these days but when we was young we heard loads of story's about it , and I kid you not it is a scary place a night there is also a lake we used to go to which is also freaky and is meant to be hunted to if you want any more info as I know that area well and know all the hot spots . grate vid to guys keep it up ..........
I live by cannock chase , i live in cannock, this is like the thinest part of the woods , the thicker and more creeper parts are nine gate , witch is in cannock chase , it has trenches from world war and its just creepy in general as it was a war training place i believe or a military base
Ive been in cannock chase because i go there daily and one night i lost my mom and dad ( they were in the car like 2 meters infront of me ) and all i heard was giggling and it was really freaky !

Just got back from there - there are sacrificial stones , altars and even knights templar objects in Shuggborough estate near by .

Have been ghost hunting their before as my dad lives their and heard wispering growing and got chased out of wood by something couldn't see anything behind us but. We heard the footsteps scary
Although the place has an eiree feal in places. Might be worth noting Cannock chase has a huge scout and guide outward bound centre slap bang in the centre of it. Where many children have spent many nights under canvas.
Whilst camping there we were often taken on night hikes and other such activities. Fun times.

I live in the Cannock chase area it's really creepy at times but it can be a great family day out there have been warnings mostly in October about the black eyed girl sightings there is a pub four crosses which was closed because there were sightings there is at the back of Cannock chase woods

I live in Connecticut near a lighthouse that is supposed to be haunted by the owner. The owner is said to be a nice man who even helped two people when their raft flipped over. The lighthouse is also for sale lol

This is my take on things in this video as well as anything else in this ghost or entity in general. Now I believe that if you are to focus on a certain thing, entity, being, witch, ghost, or anything in general. Now if you focus on that and think about with your mind things will manifest as that what your thinking. Or for the fact when a good amount of people believe in something it will manifest as that what you are wanting to see and hear. Your mind is very powerful and very good at creating things at night as well as tricking you into thinking something you are thinking of. I do think BEKS are real, as well as slenderman, wolfs, banshees and what not. You just really put effort into thinking that and it will manifest into that. Your thinking of this well there comes along fear. As you feel that you began to get nervous and have this overwhelming feeling that what you are thinking of is yapping as well the symptoms.
You just have to believe in it and it will happen. If you are thinking of hearing things well that brings more fear and then your mind wants to creat this image of what you want to see. So it's very likely all these things are real you just have to believe in it and put your soul and heart into it, it will happen. There's a lot of things we still don't know of this world, we are always finding out knew things every day so some of this stuff might very be real we just don't know how to get where they are at.
So people let me know what you think of this, this is just my opinion and I actually put this to the test and I was amazed as what happened.
One last thing. You say you are being watched from all over he more you believe it the more it will come true. So these beings and entity's can happen and will just put your mind into it and see what will happen I promise you, you will agree with me.

what a load of crap, the only thing you'll find are deer and mountain bikers night riding. As a mountain biker who does night ride, yes its scary but it just your imagination playing tricks on you. once you get used to it you've just gotta worry about deer jumping out on you.

I can tell you about the Slender man one. Police were called somewhere in the Pye Green area I think it was that someone was in they're bedroom, not letting them move or speak for 20 30 seconds.
