Self Defense ending is very good. It lightly explores how even though she was justified, murdering your capturer can still be traumatic. Not many pieces of media explore that.
Like murder in self defense can still cause immense PTSD. Most people wouldn't walk out of that without some mental scars. That plus the immense stress she was put through.the
Possibly because we haven't yet step foot in the room/place/screen where we see the code, therefore not triggering the unlocked drawer and instead triggers the cheater ending
It would be interesting for a ending where June likes him. (It’ll be a bad ending tho. I’m thinking due to Stockholm syndrome that’ll she’s like him as a bad ending. There could also be another ending where her friends finds her considering how worried they were at the start and they knew the location. If she’s been gone hours it’ll be interesting if they find her before he kills her. And last idea is that Ares attacks Ian instead. I feel there’s a few ways and a few more endings this game could take.
What made the difference from the ending 3 to ending 4 or 5? All three chose an option to stab but for ending 3 she did not proceeded with stabbing him

I think either she saw dad kill mommy and dad threatened to kill her if she told anyone or she saw dad cheat on mommy(not sure) and like she feels guilty for being the "cause" or like a commenter here said but with the mommy instead,she killed the mom

When you're in an adrenaline rush trying to defend yourself from someone who had SEVERED HEADS IN THEIR BASEMENT, you don't have time to feel bad about killing them. You kill them and you run away together with the other person that was held by them, their sister. Like come on, sure it may be traumatizing killing someone, but the response of trauma doesn't happen right away. Idk I just hated this ending
