@blueblur2273 It could've moved to FOX and took Martin's old Thursday night timeslot. Or place the show between Mon-Tue or Friday (I don't know if FOX had the weekend death slot at that time, but who knows).
@@DavidRichardson95 In Martin's Thursday time slot Martin was going up against and beating A Different World. When this show was on NBC they moved it from Saturday to Thurs. right before A Different World and even at that time slot it couldn't get higher ratings than A Different World. So if they couldn't beat A Different World(even with them losing some of their audience to Martin) numbers when they were on the same Network they probably weren't going to do it on a lesser viewed network in Fox at that time. Not to mention Thurs. was NBC's best night and NBC dominated the 90s in terms of ratings. When Sinbad replaced Martin on Thurs. they were cancelled after 1 season because they couldn't maintain competitive numbers like Martin was able to. So hard to see this show doing that too. Ideally you would want to put a show that takes place in the club and heavily features music right before the weekend so I don't think the Sun-Wed time slots make any sense. You can put it on Friday but then they would have to go up against TGIF which is equally as hard as NBC's Thurs. lineup. So honestly I don't think it really had much chance for success
Really? I remember this song and I'm 44 years old I remember it use to be play on B.E.T on Video Soul Summer of 92. I think some people forgot about this song
Quincy Jones III aka QDIII provided music for The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air as well as Out All Night from Fresh Prince Creators Andy & Susan Borowitz and their company The Stuffed Dog Company, In the House from Fresh Prince Producers Quincy Jones and David Salzman and Grown Ups from Alan Haymon Co-Producer of Out All Night.and Between Brothers
This show was a spin off of fresh prince there was plans to have crossovers to fresh prince if the show lasted. All the producers and writers were from fresh prince. Duane martin was supposed to be like will smith and morris chestnut was supposed to be a smooth talking Charlton. Patti Labelle was like Aunt Viv Vica was like Hilary but smarter
Never understood how the guy with the Scottish accent and name always claimed to be from England. Could've just said British Isles which would have made perfect sense.
Wow, MC Hammer is such a positive influence and a great role model. Really missed those artists.
This show could've lasted four seasons easy.
And Getting Personal which featured two actors from this show.
Man
Not on a network like NBC. More like a network like Fox, The WB or UPN

I'm going to tell my kids that That Mexican OT was inspired by Hammer to roll letters that aren't R's when he raps.
As a kid i always thought this was a fresh prince spinoff
