Reading habit is like an exercise good point.... Reading strongly effect on the mind. The attitude, vision, concept etc etc are build up rightly through reading habit, it is the sign of progressive society.
Im so fond of reading. But its true tht There are digital Distractions Which Limits My ability. I will Make Sure to Read More Nd Think More Nd Stop Distracting myself.I will. This Ted talk was Good Too.I Love seeing nd learn from people who are alike me😇
@Alisha - First of the massive accolades to you. At very early age you inclined to reading. Reading also exercise - very beautiful statement. You are a unlike others and no proximity with others. There was no skeptical in this. endearing presentation for all us.. @Thank you
The fact is everyone express their feeling and gain popularity through social media, even they are benefited by using social media, mobile and new technological devices still no one feel to give A SIMPLE THANKS TO the platform. This is not the sign of good people. She could not think in This way after being a good reader and writer.and she preaches that reading book can change the way of readers thinking. NO DOUBT Book READING IS ONE OF THE BEST HABIT ONE CAN HAVE, BUT AS READER WE SHOULD ALSO NOT FORGET AND DIMINSH THE VALUE OF SOCIAL MEDIA. AND ONE MORE THING FOR THE SPEAKER MADAM " NOT EVERY ONE HAS THE SAME FEELING TO SEE A HANDSOME MAN/ BEAUTIFUL WOMAN GOING DOWN THE STREET." Anyway THANKS U ARE A GOOD PERSON AND SPEAKER👍👍👍
Book reading is a personal interest and and who is interested can read anyway no distraction can affect them they will find their way anywhere. If someone has no interest at all they will not read or they will read reluctantly even they know that it is good. And this casual reading is of no use..... it's totally time waste. Arousing an interest in individual to do something, social media plays a vital role negatively and positively. They also provide instant answer to the question regarding the interest. We get suggestions from veterans. What u are saying is the other aspect of the matter and realy saddening, but condemnation to the platform is not a solution. Awareness can be spread about it and victims can be motivated towards using the brighter side of this technological world. *ADVANTAGES is directly proportional to the square root of Disadvantages*
That was a very touching and powerful talk. I can't wait to finish all my university papers and start reading the books that I never have time to read. Reading provides you with so much information, skills and new perspectives... Will definitely check your book after I'm done :)

Good speech . For education and reading books if you read book so you become a good personalty because you read something books or newspaper your knowledge will be increased
Very very very thank you so much mam, for your experience. We learn from other's experiences far easily than from our ones. You have provided me with the reason to do this exercise every single day I live, and hope one day I could meet you ... ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I feel happy about spending time watching this! Very helpful! This speech correlates with the book i'm currently reading - "Deep Work" by Cal Newport. :)
I missed her midway... Same for the books...if the information being provided is something we already know or being presented in a dull way without troughs and peaks (be it in pitch of voice or storyline ) we loose interest or are lost in-between as in our case... I btw started looking at comments after halfway...
well people say that social media is affecting ur attention span but lemme tell you i m a social media addict but whn i can play pubg or watch a movie for Hours if it's interesting ...so I think u might just be doing the wrong thing
I am single for I feel bad about myself because of my dyslexia. I feel like no man will love me. I have been downsized for it. I don’t like men anyways. I also don’t like women. I don’t like kids which means boys and girls. So how come she got more time to read than all of us? I rather read Charles Dickens. I did not get a chance to read much. At her age, I was a housekeeper at a nursing home. Reading is overrated. I don’t want to read books by book worms who feel that they had a chance to learn instead of work a lot.
unfortunately, telling someone how good reading is, will not make them read, meaning you cannot convince them to read (more) simply by showing them how good reading is. many of them probably wont even believe you and just say "what a load of bs". people who are already (avid) readers are most likely the ones who would understand and appreciate the message, but they are the ones who least need convincing since they are already engaged in reading.
i don't know whether this comment will reach or not alisha, but to make good impact while giving public talk you must know sense of voice management. your voice seems like pretty disturbing and very polite. to have good impact of voice i would suggest you morning exercise; in early morning roar out of your voice as hard as you can, you will strength voice stamina and increase voive impression.
Like Mr Modi I guess 😁.... I wonder that's how he started, with a morning roar. 🐯. Although everyone have different way of talking, its the delivering that matters.

It’s ok to leave a book if you don’t like it. Don’t waste your time on something which is not worth it.
This talk gonna let me to study more
A writer telling us to read more is like a candy store owner asking us to eat more candy...😆

What face mask are you using to make you look like you are 21?
I thought why she got very less views after so good speech then I got that appreciation of Pakistan makes a great damage to her career 😂😂

*"The all-you-can-eat buffet of opinions, also known as Twitter"* i lost it y'all XD
street with pan spits? seems long tym since you are mumbai.!
its still the same..
This talk is written badly, & delivered even terribly. The humour statements, were said in a way, it was painful to see.
Careful that kinda talk will put a target on you by the left. Reading is bad. Everything we need to know the left can tell us.
Are you still working out at the YMCA?
Lol pepega
