Hi Sir, Around 33 minutes, you say that gel permeation chromatography is easy to perform when the polymer chains are well dissolved as a single phase i.e. when the temperature is above UCST and therefore can be separated easily. Could you throw a bit more light as to what would happen if the polymer fractions are loaded into GPC in an immiscible form. Would GPC work or will it affect the resolution in anyway ?
You are taking my comments "too seriously." I wanted to emphasize that the polymers have to be dissolved in the solution as an individual chain to experience size-exclusion-effect.
