Not gonna lie, after forcing Alex Russo to be her girlfriend after using her and using “I’m a man, I can’t help it.” as an excuse for his possessive behaviour (after that, he was fine until he ate Dean out of jealous in Journey to the Center of Mason when he went back to being a toxic boyfriend and got worse in Wizard of the Year. “I can’t control myself!” or “I won’t control myself!”? I’d think the latter), while this was an emotional ending, I can’t be the only one who thinks that while he has reformed in the ending (well, he was at least in character from Wizards vs. Werewolves to Alex Gives Up).
I have a feeling that Mason was probably supposed to be written out of the series after Wizards vs Werewolves, until the writers realized that he was such a popular and well received character. Why else would they give Gregg Sulkin his own wand ID? I kinda wish that Juliet could have gotten the same treatment, but it probably wouldn't have been as easy to bring her back because Bridgit was on Good Luck Charlie around the same time the latter half of Wizards was airing on TV. That's a shame, because I personally think that Juliet was a very fun and animated character
Was talking with a friend the other day about things we watched as kids and we got super nostalgic for all kinds of stuff. Gotta say... This was a hell of a lot more epic to 10 year old me.
He reminds me of Knuckles the Echidna like how Mason Greyback reminds me of Sonic the Hedgehog (Sonic Unleashed) and Alex reminds me of Amy (mainly in Sonic Boom where she’s at her funniest).
This episode came on TV today and it reminded me of what an unhealthy relationship Alex/Mason was. He confesses feelings for someone else, Alex takes him back. He then threatens her and then physically fights her brother and his girlfriend, and she is still into him. Not only was this a negative message to portray, but it is kind of out-of-character for Alex. In later episodes he also gets jealous and tries to fight anyone he wrongly thinks is interested in Alex. I love the show overall but this isn't one of its best moments.
I strongly agree because their relationship reminds me of Teddy and Spencer because both of them cheated on Alex and Teddy and they still went back to them and mason in this episode confessed his love to another female and Alex was heartbroken and there were countless times he did this to her in the series and the same for good luck Charlie
In case you guys forgotten here Mason didn’t mean to he’s a werewolf and they are very loyal and have impulsive moments that make them say things they didn’t mean here!
