Actually this is an aria from Georges Bizet's opera "Les pêcheurs de perles (The Pearl Fishers)" and known as "Romance de Nadir". It's the next song from "High Hopes" at the same concert and expresses how Gilmour feels about the music as a whole sentiment. Unfortunately, I only saw David live once and that was in Pompeii in 2016.The concert was breathtaking and ranks in my list of favorites just behind the Nightwish concert 2013 in Wacken.
@@jbreacts I watched the video. I think David is not the right person for such small concerts - his world is the big stage in front of thousands of fans.Of course he is very old and doesn't have this power anymore, but I'll always see him there.
@@Kelsea-2002 Yeah i agree hes at his best in the lights puting on a show like the pulse show that iv seen parts of is epic , i mean bloody epic with the pink floyd band, but i appreciate this, iv not herd much but i love this song and will love to see many versions of it
