The signaller rang the telephone at the crossing, presumably to ask why a bunch of people were milling around without actually requesting the crossing be opened.
Very interesting crossing, no alarm, no lights barriers came down quick! Ive not seen a crossing so vlose to a motorway/dual carriageway before, that is a very busy road. Wow that train blink & you miss it! 4.30 what is that phone ringing, then that man answered the emergency phone! 😂 then a train comes this is one strange crossing! 👍😂
Excellent Video! Strange what happened there.
What makes it strange?

@@K-o-R Oh, I didn't even notice, lol.
@ Well thinking of how long the barriers were down for after the request button pressed. They didn’t raise straight away, that’s all I can say really.
@ Yeah I know.
God bless you for making these videos and great vid❤🎉😊
Excellent video as always 👍
A few months ago I visited appleford request crossing in Oxfordshire! Glad to see there are more request crossings here in the uk!

There were alarms they were just really quiet
At this level crossing there is Yodalarms but very quiet since the A13 muffles the noice out
I heard the alarm they very quiet
5:32 why did the signal man call?
That is one strange set up.
7:27, the train rolls passed as if nothing didn't happen. 😂
Great video and crossing!
Why the lights are off.
