This is what exactly I need! Thank you so much :)
Too bad you didn't bother to show how you actually cleaned the fan & shroud. Also, why not replace the thermal compound if you've already opened up the entire laptop? It's very bizarre of Toshiba to NOT leave a vent at the fan, as well. It's trying to pull air through from halfway across the case, which means the CPU is getting the RAM-warmed air, too. I think I'll clean the fan, replace the compound, and use a dremel to mod a few slits in the chassis, over the fan, for better airflow.
Amazing tutorial thaaaanks (y)
Thanks heaps. Video really helped
very good video thank you, just what I was looking for .. surprised you didn't fit a heat sink to the sound chip?
Perfect!
Anyone knows what are the differences between the colours of the screws? I managed to mixed them up

I thought you had taken out the cable that connects the fan to the motherboard, and I took it, now it won't go on again, can you tell me if it is possible to attach it again or I have to weld the piece back. The rest went great, nice video btw, really helped me out
And you didn't change the thermal paste, why?
GOOD VIDEO IM PERFECT
I put my laptop back after cleaning, now I'm left with two extra screws! Fml
you know the difference between the colours of the screws?
@@AN-dw2kb well they are the same colour, black. They look exactly the same, just the length of the screw varies.
@@kunga45 , always draw a diagram to show what hole you pulled what screw..and put screw on the diagram were the hole is.
Aw shet, is there no other way to just disassemble the cooling fan and heat sink without disassembling the whole thing?
Nope a laptop is a very compact version of a pc so yea you have to open the whole thing
@@areksuroboyo4588 And this one must be one of the worst I've even tried to open up. Just pure poor design by Toshiba.
@@malcolmsillick2192 atleast you can vacuum clean some dust inside the cooler fan
@@malcolmsillick2192 just by aim the vacuum cleaner to the exhaust area thing and just clean it
@@malcolmsillick2192 plus my toshiba is very old that the last part to open just stuck like it's stuck I can't open it for now
