I First thought, this must be a joke. Hell no, it's not a joke. How cool is that. XD You restore/recover some random plate and then you're googling around, searching for a random plate with a photo and booooyaaaaah: IIIA-6592
Unreal how well that plate came up. Plus you can see the Wehrmacht stamp. it's a shame you couldn't flatten the plate, but that might risk damaging the original paint. Anyway great job, enjoyed watching.
Do you think that plate is the same as the plate in the photo? Is there any way you could buy the original photo you found? Amazing video! I love your channel!!!!
Hey! Great work, buddy! Here's a litte hint: At 5:39 (as an example) you can see IIIA on the plate. And bit back in the video there was that writing with "Der Polizeipräsident in Stuttgart" Now if you google historic license plates (germany of course) you'll find out that IIIA stands for " III A | Neckarkreis | (Polizeidirektion Stuttgart)". Meaning that this was probably a license plate of the Gestapol or so. And WH-1207 707 should be the Wehrkreis XII Wiesbaden because the numbers on the license plates in Wiesbaden went from 120.000 - 129.999 Greetings from Germany... ;) But not Stuttgart :D (cause I'm from Frankfurt/Main, lol)
I do not show how NEED to do the restoration. I show you how I do it.
